"Having seen my friends take these lights off their bikes with ease over the cold winter months while I struggled to unclip my previous lights, the event of having my bike stolen with said annoying lights prompted me to buy these.
And what a good choice! Strikingly bright lights that are easy to attach and remove from my bike when it's cold or I'm in a hurry. More than enough settings too.

"I would like to say this is the second product from the ever growing Knog range that i have purchased. The Knog Beetle LED Front Light is only small but packs a big punch, in still or either of the flashing modes. Visibility from the front is astounding for something that is really only pocket money price, but big in stature, and ease of use is so un complicated that you wonder why nobody has come up with this idea before? If it moves - replace it, if it gets dirty- clean it. Knog , a company where simplicity itself works."

"A near miss with a car pulling out from a side road at night made me realise my constant main beam main light was not enough, so decided to purchase two Knog Beetle Led lights as these could be set to a flashing mode, and I have to say I was seriously impressed. The light casing is very discreet and a superb design, quirky but incredibly functional. The casing is silicon and wraps around the handlebar keeping them securely in place - easily removed and attached in a matter of seconds, and in place do not spoil the look of the bike.They have several light modes constant and flashing which you can cycle through (no pun intended!). When set to flashing or strobing the light is actually amazingly powerful for its size- they wont light up a road at night but as a compliment to your main light will definitely get you noticed. The only niggle is that when hunched over your bars you are constantly aware of the flashing lights below - this was annoying and distracting at first but I found you actually get used to this and learn to ignore it, so I will not let it detract from the overall score. I read in another review the user had this same issue and what they did was mount them upside down so the lamp was under the handlebars. Overall I would heartily reccommend these."

"You can see why Knog call this the Beetle - it's a tiny little thing but bright with it.
Very well thought out design to this product. You can clearly see someone has actually thought about the end user.
It's an elegant light with no need for special mountings simply wrap the rubber band around any part of your bike. Press the top to cycle through the different light modes.
Works perfectly as 'be seen' light around town with street lighting. I find it brighter and more eye catching than the bigger Knog Gekko I have on the rear of my bike.
Funky little packaging too."

Beetling off

"I thought that these were great lights when I originally bought 3 of them a while ago: black, blue and red. Only the blue one still seems to work properly and ironically this one has been used most.. I have changed the batteries and fiddled around with the other two in a vain attempt to re-activate them, but with no success. The red one intermittently was stuck with the light on, but when I tried to rectify this, it didn't work at all.
They seem more pricey than when I bought mine, so I sure wouldn't buy them again, considering the lack of longevity."

"This fantastic little light is just what you need to stick in a pocket, I have a couple of them. They fit any bars so are flexible, lightweight and unobtrusive. They are great for cycling around with other ambient lighting making sure you are visible. They have 3 modes. They are resilient and waterproof. Although bright they would not enable you to see very far in very dark conditions. I love them."

"A good small front light that you can clip on any handle bars as required.Not very good if you want to see where you are going, but gives a good bright flash so you can be seen. The only thing I don't like is that part of the light lens is visible from the top and can be a bit distracting."

"Easy on and TOO easily off, it has popped off on a couple of occassions and luckily I dont go that fast (its an age thing)I have found it when doubling back. You will be seen(in flashing mode) but wont see anything on the road firstly because thats not what its for you need a more expensive light for that and secondly you feel you are back in the disco standing in front of a really annoying strobe."

"Bought it as a Christmas present for my brother in France. Product seems fine, but arrived with duff batteries. Brother complained that it didn't work, so when I checked it one of the 3V CR3032 batteries read 2.1V and the other -1.6V (!)
Not worth paying the return postage to Wiggle so I replaced the batteries - first bad thing I've had from Wiggle so far."

Great fitting shame about the brightness

"I bought this light but was a little concerned about fitting and whether it would hold secure on my bike and not slip round the handlebars when I'm on roungh ground. It turns out the fitting is great, I like the design as well but the light was just far too dim even in twighlight. Real shame but sent it back."

"I really like this light. It looks groovy and is really small. You don't really notice it being there. I guess it is more a of warning light to other road users. It doesn't provide enough light to actually light up the road way. But it is very bright for such a small light. Easy to install and various setting (flashing, normal etc)."
