Failed tubes

"I thought continental would be really good so I bought this pack of five tubes, one popped when I pumped it up first time, one failed near the valve and I went to get on my bike for work this morning and the tyre was flat it had a hole in it. Don't waste your money and get a decent make or go to a shop so you can take them back and complain.."

Absolutely terrible
Cons: Expensive, Low Quality, Wears Out Easily
"Worst tubes imaginable. The valves are ridiculously flimsy. I've gone through the pack of 5 trying to find a decent one but nope. All awful. Difficult to get a pump on there, and when I do I can't get up to 100 without it spazzing out and leaking air.
This morning is also the third time in a fortnight I've woken up to find that one of the tubes is complexly flat.
AVOID AVOID AVOID"

Bought in bulk to compliment gatorskin hardshells

"As mentioned in the title, I got those together with gatorskins, but thinking back, the gatorskins are so tough I will probably never need to change an inner tube again!
More on the subject of the tube itself, I do appreciate threaded / knurled valve, as it helps the pump head stay ON the valve. I had some other tube fitted in the shop previously, with smooth valve head, which made the pump just slip off when the pressure almost, but not quite, reached 100PSI. Once I managed to fit the tube without pinching, I expect long and reliable service from it, which I am sure it will deliver."

"低価格だったので購入しましたが 私が良く使うホィールはディープリムタイプなので バルブの長さが60mmはなければ 空気を入れる時に困難です しかしこの商品は40mmのノーマルバルブです よく確認をせずに買ってしまいました ミスでした しかし 他にノーマルリムのホィールを持ってるので そちらで使う事にします ちなみに重量は101ｇでした それと ディープリムのホィールに使ってみた写真を載せておきます"

Bit disappointing

"Thought that inner tubes were mostly alike until I had a flat and pulled out my new Continental inner tubes. The first one I put on worked for about 500 metres before it deflated. This one was my fault as I found a bit of glass that I'd missed.
No problems, I'd just bought a 5 pack of Continental inner tubes! First one, the valve on the top decided to screw out when I was pumping the tyre up, ditto for the second one. The final 2 inner tubes I'd left at the office, so I ended up trudging the remaining 2km in to work.
I'm sure there's an element of ill preparedness on my part (not having a tool to tighten the valve up), but still disappointing to have a product need to be fixed before it is even out of the packet."

Bad batch?

"I've been going through these tubes at quite a rate. I bought this 5 pack and have already used 4. Of those 4 however, 2 were to replace recently replaced tubes from the same pack that just weren't holding the pressure. Pumping up to 100psi and the next morning they were back down to around 30psi and held that pressure. I set off on a 40 miler with one just pumped to 100psi and it very quickly went a bit pudgy. Back home, I checked the pressure, which seemed to have settled at 30psi. So, a 50% failure rate. I was expecting better from a reputed brand. A bad batch perhaps?"

Another quality product!

"It was with great excitement that I waited for my parcel to arrive and I am pleased to say I was not disappointed.
This product excels in every way. The packaging reassured me that this was no ordinary inner tube. The use of German on the box gave the confidence that this was engineering at its best. Inside the gentle smell of new rubber greeted me.
Tightly coiled and with a discrete rubber band the product will look great in any tool pouch or back pocket. The valve at the centre of the coil shines and the locking ring glides on the precision thread. The yellow colouring of the cap is thoughtful but a range of colour options would be useful for the image concious roadie.
I am yet to use this product but cannot wait and am seriously thinking of purposefully finding some glass to ride on so that I can replace my current tube.
I'll be back for more!"
