Does good job
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Got a bike with no fine adjust on front deraillieur so a little fiddly to set trim position right. One of these sorted it nicely. Just one tip if you're like me and lube everything in site - avoid getting lube on the black part that goes into cable end stop as it then has a tendancy to slip and turn and lose tension."

Useful for on-ride fettling
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I used these to replace a pair of (broken) Tiagra adjusters, and they do the job nicely. they work well and don't stick out from the shifters as far as the Tiagra ones did. They would also be fine used in a downtube-mounted gear cable receptacle, which is probably what they are really intended for.
Only minor gripe is the front mech one slowly unscrews with road buzz, so the front mech goes out of adjustment (I run a triple, so the adjustment is important to keep the chain on the middle ring and maintain quality of shift). Easily tweaked while riding, and a lot better than no adjustment at all. Could be improved by making the quarter turn dimples a bit deeper, but this is a really minor issue."

Does what you need them to, and does it well...
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Ok, so not the most exciting product, but, as with everything that I have ever used that bears Tom Ritchey's name, the product does exactly what you need it to do. These are designed to be in-line adjusters, positioned in the middle of a cable run, but I snapped a barrel adjuster that sat in-frame in a braze on and these did the job admirably. A metal inner liner that the cable housing sits in and (a tough seeming) plastic barrel adjuster looks up to the job as it's smooth running, the ferrule also extends over the cable outer a useful amount, so water ingress should not be an issue. Used with a SRAM Red set up, running Gore ride-on cables."

Do what they're for.
Pros: Rugged, High Quality, Good Fit
"Four stars because they aren't quite as positive as the adjuster on my Ultegra rear mech (sets the standard). Fit snugly into Ultegra STI levers. The logo is a bit distracting but can be turned out of sight. Overall a decent quality product."

Good price Barrel Adjusters
Pros: Great Value, Adjustable, Lightweight
"Very easy to use and to install. I did have one jam up on me, but I suspect that was my fault. These have come recommended to me by a bike mechanic I know and trust."

They really work
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I bought these to replace the rusted old broken adjusters on an old frame. They worked perfectly, giving just that small amount of fine adjustment I needed to index my gears easily.
At £15 for the specialized ones these are a real bargin."

Not just for STIs
Pros: Adjustable
"My Van Nicholas frame has unthreaded mounts for the cables on the downtube, so standard barrel adjusters don't fit as they typically screw in. Initially I just ran the cables straight through them but got frustrated with not being able to adjust on the fly. Got these, which are intended to go onto Shimano STI shifters, and they fitted perfectly. I run them with Campag Nokon cables and they work a treat. The adjusters are plastic but they're lightweight, look nice enough and work."

Pros: Adjustable, High Quality, Versatile
"These are great for fine tuning gear changes on the move, they fit where the cable comes out of the STI. Beware if your cable doesn't come out of the side of the STI (new Shimano stuff), these won't fit."

Pros: Attractive, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
"These are much better than my stock jagwire adjusters. As Shimano don't ship adjusters with their levers and cables, these are pretty much a necessity."
