Shimano M535 review guide
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Good Fit
Cons: Bulky
"I got these for my mtb bike build that I was doing and while I havent been able to give them a test off road, initial blats up and down the cull de sac seemed promissing. I just got to wait for the pads to bed in and for this dammed rain to go away. Nice colour (shimano black), and good lever feel tho calliper is a lil bulky. Mind you for the price, I cant really complain."

Very good item
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit, everything supplied
"I have upgraded from mechanical disc brake to Shimano M535 brakes. Very easy to set up and they come with all you could need to shorten the cables. was a bit worried about bleeding but all is supplied including oil and it is a piece of cake even for a novice. Fantastic stopping power after bedding in period. Would highly recommend these brakes."

Quality braking
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, easy to fit
"Bought this for one of my mountain bikes. Another piece of Shimano quality engineering. The simple instructions are easy to follow if you're a novice and need to use them - else the kit just fits its self, well OK you do have to tight a few bolts! Nothing is difficult with Shimano they're bike people. Again for the novice mechanic the system comes ready to fit there is no messing around with bleeding the system just bolt on the disk and caliper, fit the lever, happy days. Ideal upgrade for those moving from rims to disks."

solid but slightly underpowered
Pros: Attractive, Great Value
"good brakes easy to set up out of the box and not too tricky to bleed. they are single digit lockable but you don't get the bite i've seen woth other brakes. they are good value and look good but i would like a bit more power and adjustabiity in lever reach and modulation - i guess you get what you pay for ..."
