Typical Campagnolo Quality
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"Easy no fuss installation with none of the issues talked about in some online forums. Campagnolo are always on the money when it comes to quality and this product is no exception and it teams with a great price."

Pros: High Quality, Lightweight
"There is no way to screw these in without a tool, despite what the instructions say. However a strap wrench will do the job if the proper tool is not available (it was put on back-order when I bought mine)
Apart from that, simple, and they do the job.

Campag quality
Pros: Durable, High Quality
Cons: Unattractive, Limited Color Choices, difficult to fit
"Would have given this 5 stars but for the fairly dull colour. Also it was a bit of a so n so to fit (according to the grumpy mechanic at my LBS), so beware anyone thinking of getting one. However, performance wise this cannot be faulted. Bought to go with my Fulcrum chainset - no issues with compatibility. Runs fine with 10sp shimano groupset too."

What you'd expect from Campy
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I purchased this cup set to replace the ones that came with a 10-speed UT crankset that I bought second hand - the originals looked like they had been removed with a pipe wrench. Although advertised as being for an 11-speed crank, they worked perfectly on the 10-speed crank. They now have a gunmetal grey anodising rather than the polished silver of past incarnations but I happen to think they look better against the carbon fibre crank arms. As usual for Campy parts, they were devoid of installation instructions but there are heaps of sources online (including Campy's website) for instructions on installation."

Why grey?
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Unattractive, Limited Color Choices
"Not much to say about these as they are a like for like replacement if you have Ultra torque kit already. I got them for a new frame where i needed italian thread on the BB.
Only compliant is the colour. They are a dull grey, the ones i had before were silver to match the rest of the group set. why no silver ones?
The appearance is the only issue i can think of and i suppose that's loosely performance, hence 3 stars."

Great product
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"These bearing cups are required when purchasing and installing the Ultra Torque crankset.
Be sure to note your bottom bracket threads, whether English or Italian.
They are easy to install and with the correct tool and torque wrench there is no problems with intallation.
As with all Campagnolo parts and tools - they always work and do what they are ment to do.
Campagnolo always provide excellent documentation on their products.
The whole project was easy to install.

Light, well made and attractive
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"These are a nice finishing touch to your ultra torque system. They a well made with a high quality anodised finish which is durable and attractive. Campy provide a thick layer of thier special high tech lube on the inside where the cups meet the bearings. On the threads, campy have also applied a special locktite substance to ensure the cups do not come loose. When you install these please put some PVC tape around the outside of the cups before using the special campag tool to tighten them otherwise you will leave unsightly marks on the anodised finish. These cups are made from a very light alloy (50grms)."

Wiggle's Service
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: none
"The Campagnolo Ultra-Torque Bottom Bracket Cup Set was exactly as expected; excellent in every way. Even better was the service from Wiggle. I particularly appreciated being kept informed promptly at all stages by Wiggle of the progress with my Order. This level of service also applied to other items, which I have bought from Wiggle."

Does the job. What more do you want!
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight
"Well it's nice to see a bike componant that's actually cheaper than the item it replaces! But for to alloy cups that just screw in your frame that's what you would expect really! The whole UT system makes chainset installation simple. I did screw the cups in by hand but I'd really think you would be better to use the specific tool as with band of anti seize it makes it hard to seat by hand force alone. Hopefully though this is a fit and forget product."

you need these
Pros: Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"You have to use these if you have a Campag Ultra Torque chainset.
No point reviewing them as you have no other choice with those cranks!
But it is worth stating the advantages I have found:
-Easy to swap cranks between bikes. This is handy if you have a 'cross bike and a winter bike and can't afford another pair of cranks... You can swap over the cranks from one bike to another just by undoing the one bolt & circlip. -Just get a set of these cups fitted to both frames.
-Very quick service time. Undo the one bolt and unclip the circlip pull both cranks out and access the bearkings to flush and repack (use waterproof grease such as finish line ceramic). Refit with correct torque, job done. Handy, as the seals are not up to the british winter (or spring /summer/autumn!). But then you don't get the drag of proper contact seals.
Enough said"
