Worth the money

"The treasure bar tape is a very grippy but it is also very soft and takes all the bumps away while riding. Well Worth the money. Also unwrapped it about 5 times to change something with the bars and not one rip or tear and it lost none of the stickiness so could be re-used but it still is sticky that it wont move when sprinting"

"After rebuilding my 19 year old bespoke audax machine with new transmission, shifters, and wheels all that was left was to tape the bars. "Too much black" said the wife, "can't you get bar tape in silver?"
It was a good call. This tape hit the spot. It was fairly easy to apply and not too sticky, so could be rolled back and restarted. It's quite thick and has a brilliant, slightly tacky surface layer which bodes well for a long life and abrasion resistence. Only downside was that it was a bit neat on length. It only just made it to the end, but the under-tape gel pads did make the bars a bit ticker to wrap. There was no 2" extra bits for the shifter brackets, so these had to be cut from the main length. It stretched to fit well, and I never felt it was in.danger of snapping. The final result looked great!"

fiddly to apply

"As mentioned by one other reviewer the double sided tape had lost it's tackiness, making it difficult to apply. I had to remove the tape and apply replacement. Looked good once it was eventually on comfotable and grippy."

"Feels good on the hand, but I might have gotten quite old package, because adhesive tape was partially dry(!)
But I got these tapes on my handlebar and it also looks great.

"good bar tape, easy to install, very nice feel. looks good if you are able to backup the colour, but might not suit fancy riders. i look forward to trying the Cinelli leather tape."
