Bright lights, big savings
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"These are excellent value lights that can be fitted in a couple of minutes and provide more than enough light for urban use.
I haven't used them in pitch dark areas and suspect that the small spot of the front light, from the single white LED, will make it tricky to navigate by. However, they do an excellent job of making you visible to other road users.
The clamps are easy to fit and the quick-release couplings make removing the lights from the bike very easy indeed.
Both lights use a single button for turning on, turning off and selecting the light mode. Both lights follow the same sequence:
OFF -click- ON FLASHING -click- ON CONTINUOUS -click- OFF
The rear light has three red LEDs which flash in a rapid blinking sequence with the brightest centre LED pulsing on only every four or five blinks, approximately once a second. It's a distinctive pattern that is sure you get you noticed.
In continuous mode only the bright red centre LED lights, but it's more than adequately bright. In fact you can see it from a mile away or more.
The rear light uses 2 AAA batteries, the front uses 2 AA batteries.
I haven't needed to replace them yet so I can only conclude that battery life is very good.
The advantage of using standard battery sizes is that you can use rechargeables, and you can always buy batteries in any high street shop or petrol station if you run out of juice.

Handy set of lights
Pros: Durable, Great Value
"I bought these lights to keep me visible during the dull winter days. And they've done a good job so far.
They were easy to fit, have decent brightness and have survived a good few soakings without any issues."

Perfect be seen light
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"Definitely designed to be seen in an urban environment.
Love the simple constant /flash/off modes.
Brightest rear light I've seen. Also very compact and clipable to my helmet / bag
Front light creates ~1ft diameter spot if shot on the ground but creates a meter spot from a distance. Perhaps not designed to shoot on the ground."

Bargain lights
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Great Value, High Quality
"Smart Bspoke LED 1/2 Watt Light Set . Bought this Oct 2009. Was70% off through wiggle. Both front a rear lights were a significant improvement over those that I bought 3 years previously for more than twice the price. Am using this on unlit roads - is fine for letting cars see you - will tell over the coming months how good it is for riding in pitch black conditions. Both front and rear have flashing settings as well as constant "on" setting. Well done wiggle for the offer."

Top Purchase
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight
Cons: Unadjustable
"Things I look for in a set of light;
1. bright
2. easy to get on/off the bike
3. do not have a habit of switching themselves on when in a bag
4. can see they are working when riding (am I alone in this paranoia?)
4/4 and a good price.
Straight from the box the rear bracket will not fit oversized seat posts like Dahon's, but a dig in the tool box for a longer bolt solved that.
Almost looking forward to the clocks going back."

Bspoke - bright spark!
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, bright and eye catching, high saftey, light weight
"The competition is 'dull' in comparison, quite literally!
The front is an all round decent unit with the quality you expect. But it is the half watt rear light that shines, or in this case 'strobes' above the rest.
I commute in west London and these lights give me the performance to match the rest of my 'best of the best' basket of bike build goodies.
I have a set on each of my bikes, and at this offer price it's one of the best, 'smart'est and safest purchases you'll make this cycle year.
See the light - and buy tonight. It's the brightest decision you'll do this winter!"

Great value lights
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Great Value, Lightweight
"Bright, multi function lights which are great value for money. I have not had them long enough to comment on their durability and while build quality is obviously not in the same league as high end models, I have had no problems with the 2 sets I bought and have hammered them in all weather. I honestly can not think of any cons for this product. Worth every penny."

The perfect choice
Pros: Adjustable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: seperate sets of fittings unvailable
"I cycle for exercise and fun. I needed good but inexpensive lights for safety for the shorter days of autumn and winter (only able to cycle before 6am and after 8pm).
The Smart Bspoke LED 1/2 Watt Light Set is very easy to fit. I fitted a set to my bike and my daughter (12) fitted her own set - it took me 5 minutes and my daughter a little longer. It needed nothing more than a basic screwdriver. The fittings adjust easily through a wide range, are robust and very secure.
The lights attach to the fittings very securely but are simple and easy to detach (important for a 12 year old girl as well as her 50 year old Dad).
The batteries (supplied with the set) are easy to fit although I cannot comment on the battery life as I have only had the lights for 2 months.
The lights, front and rear, are very bright and easily visible at dusk/dawn from at least quarter a mile in clear conditons. They offer constant or flashing modes.
The only down side is that spare fittings are not available.

A blinding purchase
Pros: Adjustable, Great Value, Lightweight, Versatile, bright
Cons: Low Quality
"I had only modest requirements of my new lights. They needed to be bright enough to be visible, but I didn't need to see where I was going. I had to be able to affix them to the bike without wearing out the threads or my patience. And I wanted them to be pocketable. Oh, and cheap.
Firstly, brightness: these are way, way more brilliant than I expected. Riding through the park one night, I thought the council had installed new flashing signs until I realised that they were reflecting as far as I could see. I'm sure they must dazzle motorists a bit, but I can handle that in exchange for being seen, thanks. Would easily light your way on solid beam.
Installation: easy, and done in minutes, although it wasn't immediately clear how the front bracket attached. Once I did work it out, it became clear that it wasn't designed with the tapered, elliptical handlebar on my bike in mind. No matter, it's secure - though I can still force it round with my hand (for which my privates might thank it one day).
Pocketability: no problem at all. Although the front unit looks bulky, it actually fits very snugly in my pocket. The back light is as small as it looks and almost as blinding as the front one. I haven't walked into anything with these in my pocket yet, but I'm pretty sure there are more sturdy lights on the market. The plus side of the slightly low build/material quality is that they're very light. No pun intended.
Cheap: yep - these were a fraction of the price of some of the other lights on offer and I can't believe there's a light available that's really twice as good. If they break a bit sooner, I'll happily fork out for another pair."

Pros: Good Fit, Lightweight
"Rear light is brilliant, very bright and all you need,
Front light not so brilliant. Would be more than enough for getting noticed on lit roads, but forget about trying to use it to navigate unlit roads. (use mine in flashing mode, as a secondary light to my main one).
Quality seems pretty good, and have been out on a few wet rides with them, and so far no water ingress.
Not sure i'd have been happy if i'd paid full price, but at half price they're decent value."

Pros: Great Value
"The light arrived very quickly and was very easy to fit. The on off switch on the rear light was of better quality than my previous light. The front light is bright and also has a flashing option as does the rear. At this price it is hard to find fault with it."

Don't look into the light
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
"Decent light for cheap and cheerful prices. The brightness of the single LED's front and rear are amazing. The rear light is piercing bright and the front which is magnified through a thick clear lense puts the light down onto the ground well in a controlled beam without much scatter as well as making you very obvious in the dark, although dont buy this expecting a long distance headlamp."

No regrets!
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"I bought these lights for my mountain bike as I love cycling to work and back but now the winter is drawing in and the evenings are getting darker and darker I knew that I couldnt get away with cycling around with no lights! I am very pleased with my purchase. Not only do the Smart Bspoke LED 1/2 Watt Lights look really smart and modern but they are bright and bold and do the job perfectly.
My thumbs are up!"

Excellent lights
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"I found these lights easy to fit, bright and great value for money. They both have different options eg flashing constant. With my previous set of lights I found it impossible to tighten the fitting for the front light enough and so the front light drooped but it is easy to tighten the fitting for these lights. Delivery was quick too so I am fully satisfied."

Blinded by the Light
Pros: Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
"I bought this set as it was greatly reduced in price and I wanted something to use until I can afford an Exposure Joystick. Set both up in the science prep-room and we were literally blinded by the light. Thinking about doubling up front and back as price is so low."

Smart Bspoke lights
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight
"The rear light is very good and in pulse mode is really dazzling as I ride through country roads at night it is real comfort to know you can bee seen from such a long way back on the road. The front light is bright but it tends to give a single spot on the road, so I use in conjunction with my other Smart 5 led light. With two lights I really can see well where I am going in the dark , I can also dazzle on coming car drivers who wont dipp their headlights!!!! how cool to make them dipp. I would recommend the lights a good second set of lights with the rear light excellent."
