Responsive and comfortable
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight
"Having worn mostly Saucony Hurricanes, I was looking for an alternative. These fit the bill, in comfort and performance. My first thought was that the heel was going to be too tight because it has quite a firm grip when you first put them on. But it wasn't any problem. No blisters so far, ran 10k in them for their first outing without any problems at all. Plenty of room in the toebox, too."

LIGHT MOTION CONTROL SHOE
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Lightweight
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Great shoe as Adidas always do.
I have run with then only 10 kg, and the first impression is that I have bought a great running shoe. The supporting and control are wonderful but with a smooth ride and a great cushioning (my weight is 198 lbs).
I really recomend then to over pronators with a heavy weight.

Great Adidas Shoe
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"My first pair of Adidas shoes since a pair of Adidas Cairo's (another great Adidas shoe) a few years back.
The shoes are are a great fit.
They're reasonably lightweight for a quality stability shoe - noticeably lighter than the last couple of Kayano releases that I've been running in over the last few years.
The upper fabric feels soft and breathable, but also holds your foot securely.
The sole has good cushioning and I think the stability is comparable to Kayano's.
I've averaged around 25kms per run for the first 10 runs in these shoes, including running a marathon in them, and have had no problems with them.
Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a high mileage, well cushioned, stable running shoe.

Fantastic Running Shoe
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Versatile
"This pair of running shoes is the updated version of my last shoe, and as they have been great I had no need to change. I knew that the fit would be excellent and was not disappointed.
The Adistar Salvation is a great shoe for the slight over-pronator, whilst also providing a cushioned and comfortable fit. They also wear very well and are capeable of high mileage week in, week out. I would certainly recommend this shoe.

Good but not perfect
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"I tried these shoes as a cheaper alternative to the Asics Gel Kayano - a shoe that I had been buying for 4 years. I was very happy with the Kayano's and simply tried the Adidas just to see what else was out there. I was initially very happy with the shoes but over time I fell out of love with them. My very narrow feet combined with a very high heel results in poor lateral-medial stability. I have a friend (with broader feet) who uses the same shoes finds no such issues.
To sum it up, I still like them but I only use them for shorter runs."

Excellent shoe for pronators
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Very smooth transition from the previous model (Adistar Control 5). Did it during a marathon training and had absolutely no problems. The overall feeling is great on hard and softer surfaces. Buy them if you are a pronator. I don't like the colours (the black/white combo of Control 5 was much better)."

fast shoe
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"As someone with pronation and a little extra weight since my youth I thought these shoes felt to light to offer stability but so far have been proved wrong. They make a great race shoe as well as a comfortable distance training shoe for runners looking for good anti-pronation support.."

Time for a change
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"After finding it increasingly difficult to source my trusty 2007 Adidas Supernova's, I decided it was time to change to different shoe. Over the years I've tried several brands, but settled on Adidas due to how well they fit my feet.
Wanting to try and improve my running form, to stop heel striking, but finding it hard in my old shoes to achieve this, I decided to try the Adistars instead of Sequence.
Even on their first outing I was easily able to land more towards the front of my foot. After a few weeks it is now starting to feel like second nature. I'm sure that a lot of this is down to the shoe not being as weighty on the heel.
The only complaint I have is with the colour - but I'm sure it won't be long before they are nice and dirty!
I'm really looking forward to getting into some marathon training with my new favourite shoe!"

Top quality Adidas
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I was running in Adidas Control Stability and those were good, but this Adistar Salvation are much more cushioned under the fingers, great stability, good support and have excellent fit on foot. I run about 75 km every week and this shoes are really great. Only the colour is week point, too much white, they get dirty very easy...."

Adidas Adistar Shoes
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"These shoes really fit my feet and my running style. I run in them several times a week-30 plus miles with a long run at the weekends. I wear them both on and off road and they are up to the job whatever the terrain. I have a narrow foot so the fit is ideal for me."
