Quailty Brake Set
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"I did not know what to expect when I got these. They were really cheap and I thought the quality would be as well. But this was not the case. They are an excellent quality brake with a finish on par with Shimano. They weight the same as 9 speed Ultegra brakes, and stop just as good as shimano branded brakes.
If you are looking for a quality cheap set of brakes you can not go past these. They are brilliant for the price."

Very versatile

"I bought one set of these and now going to buy another set. They are particularly good for running 700c wheels in a 27 inch frame. I discovered by accident that I could fit a 32mm CX tyre on a 700c rim on a 27 inch frame with these brakes with room to spare. Sweet. You just need to drill the backside hole out a bit bigger to fit the brake bolt which is a piece of cake.
The braking force is really good too. I've tried them with a simple mtb style brake lever, a single speed hooded road style lever and also a shim 10sp shifter/brake, all of which worked fine, actually well."

Good basic brake; best for touring bike set ups.
Pros: Great Value
"An easy to fit, well finished product. Gives pretty good braking even with standard pads (which are usually pretty poor on cheap calipers) but then I'm using V brake levers so I've got more clamping force than drop bar levers.
57mm drop is deeper than average; not a problem but these calipers would suit a touring frame with big mudguard and tyre clearances better than a race frame."

very cheap brakes

"these brakes are cheap as chips. They're half the price of Tektro brakes, but basically exactly the same.
Obviously if you're expecting real top quality, you'll be disappointed. They're not top of the range, but they're good quality for the price. If you just need a cheap pair of brakes for your road bike, these are just the ticket.
They're the cheapest long reach road brakes I could find."

"41～57mm、いわゆるロングアーチと言われるブレーキキャリパーです。普段SORA、TIAGRAグレードを使用している者としては、高級感や剛性感も申し分なく、お求め安いお値段となっております。制動力も良好。分解もしてみましたが、10年前のSORAよりも細かいところでモノの良さがわかります。大体の構造はサイドプルのブレーキはどれも同じではないでしょうか。ロングアーチはバイクにドロヨケや太いタイヤが装着できるようになっている際に選択するものかと思いますが、安くロングアーチのブレーキを購入したい方にはお薦めできる商品だと思います。"

"I bought these at a bargain price to put on my winter training single speed.They are great quality for the money and would be ideal for an everyday commuter hack- but they don't stop like the Shimano 105@s on my other bikes.You wouldn't want to be going down the Bwlch at 40 mph with these as your only way of stopping.That said you can't expect a Ferrari for the price of a Mini !"

"These dual pivot brakes replaced some old side pulls on a 20yr old racer. It used to be a case of squeezing as hard as I could and hoping I'd stop in time! These brakes have transformed it - almost as good as V brakes and I can now ride confident I can stop when I want to."
