great budget BB with adjustability
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Good Fit, Great Value
Cons: heavy
"I bought this BB to fit to a fixed gear bike that I built. This sort of project brings all sorts of issue with getting the chain line of the bike right, and to sort it out I thought that I would need to shell out for the rather expensive (but high quality) Phil Wood item. It turns out that this bottom bracket offers the same amount of adjustability at a fraction of the cost (like 1/10th).
I was able to adjust my chain line by close to 5mm to get it just perfect for my bike.
The cups on this item are the only bit that is actually manufactured by Miche, the actual spindle and bearings are a non-serviceable item that is manufactured somewhere else. This is the only downside I guess, but at this price you'll be able to afford 10 of these. Mine's been going strong for two months now and not a sign of any sort of wear."

Serious Bargain
Pros: Great Value, Adjustable, Versatile
Cons: too cheap!
"This BB is to be recommended. The manufacturer says it is supposed to go with the Miche track crankset but I find the JIS taper Miche can be used with many different square taper cranks. It is adjustable so you can offset the axle to either side of the bracket shell, which means you've got a reasonable chance of getting a good chainline. Used it with IRD track cranks which are supposed to need a 110mm spindle but this worked fine with +2mm right side offset. Also used one with a Stronglight double road crankset on a tourer, worked fine. Even tried a set of vintage Ofmega cranks which are supposed not to work with any modern square taper, but they fitted too. Looks good, feels well made, spins nicely, as adjustable as a Phil Wood BB, and for £13? Not too shabby. Time will tell how durable it is."

Insanely smooth
Pros: Great Value, Good Fit, smooth running
"Needed a very compact bb for my track build to get a straight chainline, thankfully miche manufacture these which I got the 107mm creating a perfectly straight chainline.
The bb is incredibly smooth and after 6months or so still rides beautifully.

Bottom Bracket
Pros: Durable, Great Value
"It's a bottom bracket I've had no trouble with it. Fitted a year ago and have forgotten about it so I think it is excellent but would not know how to compare it agaist another."

bullet proof BB
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Adjustable
"Had one of these bottom brackets on my winter fixed commuter bike for a couple of years with no problems. Fitted this on to my track bike. The cups don't have shoulders so it's dead easy to trim your chainline."

great BB for the money
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: cups come loose
"Really smooth, and an obvious step up in quality from the basic shimano-type stuff.
There is, however, one catch. .. I read a bunch of reviews before buying that said it comes loose, but I ignored them and whacked it straight in with a little grease. A week later, mid checkpoint-race, my cranks were rocking around all over the place. The shells had worked themselves loose!
Moral of the story? Put some loc-tite on the threads, or some plumber's thread tape. It'll creak a bit at first with loc-tite, but at least it'll stay put...
Once you do that, you'll be very happy with it, and the adjustability means that you can get your chain-line perfect :-)"

Miche Primato Bottom Bracket
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: noisey when new !
"Bought this BB to go with Miche Primato Crankset . Does the job but not smooth could have been better greased . As its not very expensive it still is a good buy been light and having good cups. Been using it for few months and no problems seems to have bedded in noisewise. If it had not would have definetly not recommended it . Now all is good so would recommend this BB. 4 OUT OF 5."

Good fit, spins well.
Pros: Great Value, Good Fit
"The adjustment available on this BB makes it very easy to get the perfect chainline. I'm using mine with the Miche Primato track crankset, and the combination is excellent. My ride is now very smooth. And for the price, this product is unbeatable."

Great Value/Performance
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: heavy
"I've already been using one of these on and off for about 7 years. As long as you use Loctite to hold the cups in position, you're set. When I didn't use Loctite, the RH cup came loose on my 35 year-old "Hoffy" track frame. My brother is happily using one without Loctite on a new "Soma Rush", though - so maybe it's just necessary to have tight new threads in your BB."

very poor miche
Pros: Attractive
Cons: Low Quality, Poor Quality
"i found this product looked good on arrival, but that was as long as it lasted. The metal is soft and of poor quality, easily distorted by the bb tool, but then it costs £12.00 so perhaps my hopes were too high."

"Cheap, adjustable and valuable. Does need a specific spline tool. But Campa freewheel remover did the job"
