Most comfortable
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, Limited Color Choices
"The helmet is the most comfortable and fitting on my oh-so-small 54" head. With a small head, most helmets have removeable 'padding' which comes adrift and leaves you with the hard shell knocking around on your nut. It sits back farther than other helmets, which is helpful as I don't have to crane my neck to see ahead of me. Chin straps are a bit awkward to adjust, but are very comfortable when you finally get them right."

Ideal Helmet
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Bought for the training mountain bike ride - hill climbing. Just wanted something to replace an old helmet. This is great! especially when climbing as the helmet has padding all along the front of the helmet which stops the persperation running down your face. Its also light, so you forget its on your head."

Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable
Cons: Unattractive, Poor Fit
"Very good helmet. I ride road bikes and it looks a bit strange. Definitely a MTB helmet. I also have a large head and the fit is a bit strange all the adjustable clips are brilliant and it does fit however it sits on top of your head rather than you wearing it."

MET Soft Touch Lid
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, can be used off road
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Been wearing it a couple of weeks now and its light and comfy. The styling is funky and looks better with the visor off. Ventilation is superb due to the large holes - not had it the rain yet though! Great lid for the price, makes you look less of a serious cyclist as well, which is great for those who don't pose!!"

Cooler than my last
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight
"As in heat - don't ask me for fashion advice though my partner seems to think it looks good :-)
I bought this to replace my Specialized Chamonix which had served me well for years. This helmet is noticeably more vented. You can feel the extra breeze when you are hot, sadly you can also feel the effects of the extra vents when it's raining :-) I think it has a better harness/strap system as well. Easier to adjust, stays adjusted and more comfortable. Not that there was anything particularly wrong with the Chamonix.
I haven't actually fallen off while wearing it yet so I can't comment on how protective it is."

Met's Terra-bly good lid.
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, Lightweight
"Having previously found Met's 54-61 cm sizing just perfect for my head, in terms of size and shape, I was confident that this helmet would fit. I wasn't disappointed, either; Met's Safe-T-Lite retention system and strap fitting arrangement just works for me like nothing else on the market. The helmet itself is a joy to wear - it's light, very well ventilated and the peak is not too long, not too short, and doesn't block the view forwards when in head down and hammer mode. The angular styling is very 'stealth-technology' and I suspect this last point is probably a 'love-hate' thing, but I love it. It's rare that I find something I'd describe as perfect, but for my particular noggin, Met helmets are just that."

Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
"As with all the Met helmets I've owned....a perfect fit, very lightweight and heaps of ventilation."
