Force For The Good!
Pros: motivational, easy to use, flexible
Cons: slightly expensive
"Just bought the Realrides Force DVD from the set and will be back for others. Right from the start with the Benchmark Threshold Test you feel that your training will be structured and not hit and miss as it can be when you go it alone. It's easy to follow and allows you to structure your own programme from the various set scenes. Even after just a few days I can feel a difference and can't wait to get out on the open roads. Even if you had a spinning bike or high quality excercise bike this would be equally useful.
I spend most winter on my indoor bike and unless you have someone pushing you or a very structured training plan it is easy to just go through the motions. With this DVD you have something to push you as you watch Robbie and the team as well as a good structure to push you that bit extra that makes the difference.
The screen layout is easy to follow which means if you get fed up with the music and Robbie's voice you can mute it and listen to your own music without losing track of when to change up or down etc.
All in all a great purchase that all levels of rider will find benefitial."

Force
Pros: intense workout in comfort of own home
Cons: none
"I am halfway through the Force dvd and have already noticed a significant difference to my climbing and strength on road rides. I find Robbie Ventura to be very motivating and the music keeps you pushing hard the whole way through the training session. It has also had the added benifit of correcting an imbalance in my leg strengths which i could just not seem to fix on road rides. I cant wait to try the next dvd in the series."

Good basics
"Solid training DVD for the winter.
Bit pricey though for what it is.

waste of money
Cons: Poor Quality, Unadjustable, Not Enough Features, Low Quality, waste of money
"after owning the cyclops 'force' DVD for a while now and seeing a marked improvment in my endurance I embarked on buying more! I brought the 'power' and 'race day' DVD's and due to the 'power' DVD coming in on backorder I recieved the race DVD today and was highly dissappointed. It comes across as the 1st DVD they ever did, full of extras that are of no use to training and one 40min 'race' that you basically cannot follow. The dashboard shows an RPM and that's about it. The 'idea' that you could follow this DVD is humorous to say the least. You have absolutly no idea what gear he is in and while he goes around his 8 corner race the cadance goes from zero to 130 plus and zero again while he slip streams behind others - hardly something you can do on a trainer! I am very unhappy and can only hope the 'power' DVD can redeem my training with cyclops real rides DVD's......"

Good training aid
Pros: Great Value
"Good DVD when the weather is not good outside. Easy to follow instructions and the dashboard is really good if you want the sound off. 45 min sessions are easy to follow and give a great tempo workout."

Good trainer companion
Pros: Great Value, effective
"I was a little skeptical but found very effective actually. I bought 2 of them, Force & Power, of which I tried just Force. Riding on a indoor trainer used to get me easily bored, but now I'm rather looking forward to it. A couple of 10 minute intervals never got me bored as I was busy to follow its instruction. 50 minutes pass rather quickly, that is very important in indoor training and makes me feel like riding a next time again. I use a power meter but as it says you can do without it."

Pros: High Quality
Cons: Expensive
"I have been using the Force DVD and find it great. Nice hard workout program that will definitely make you a stronger rider. Robbie Ventura has managed to make riding on a trainer bearable for me. Gives you more structure and pushes you much harder in your indoor sessions rather than just listening to music and spinning away.
Will be buying more of this series in the future. Highly recommend to those who, for whatever reason, can't always get outside to ride."

Training DVD.
"I;ve only used this DVD once as I have been able to get out on the bike as weather is holding up so far. On the one occasion I used it I was impressed enough with it and it offers a good workout providing you put in the effort. The coaches speak with an American accent and everything according to them is awesome so if yer allergic to the accent this DVD may not be for you, I find it tolerable although you do have the option to put the DVD on mute and you can still follow the program. Of course cycling on a turbo trainer indoors is never going to compare with getting out on the bike but for the winter months if yer motivated enough to winter train this DVD will not get you up on the bike but will give you a workout that will keep off the winter fat. I would say if you can afford it buy it, if the recession is biting, do without it and listen to music or something else instead."

"makes my turbo sessions which are normally quite dull alot more bearable.
Makes me push myseld a lot harder and is good that you can turn down the sound but still follow the workout via the information around the outside. I am sure that my cycling is getting better and I have only been followingthe DVD for3 weeks
Will probably get another one in the series after Christmas or as a Christmas present!

Surprised
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Adjustable, Versatile
"Easy to follow steps and the ability to custom your workout! What more could you want? It's not only a motivator, but you have total control over which sections you do/don't do and you progress over a certain number of weeks; i.e. you don't just watch the same performance over and over. Annnnd, you get to turn the music off, which is a must if you don't like miscellaneous euro-trance."

Great results, more variety wouldn't hurt though
"These are very effective.
The structure is great and having all the on screen information allows you to push yourself in the right directions.
My only complaint is the small number of sessions. Seems to me that it wouldn't be that much effort to have created a few more interval sessions to allow more variation.
Results are really noticeable though and that's what counts.

Pair up with a Turbo
Pros: High Quality
Cons: Expensive
"Ok, turbo training isn't interesting or fun. Even with this DVD it still isn't but at least you have a structured session and a means of judging the improvement in your performance. Yeah the guy who leads it is a bit cheesy but it does the job."

Motivation
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Versatile, good motivational value
"very, very good to keep you motivated...it would be even better if you could afford the Power meter hub set up, but never the less if you have a heart rate monitor the dvd is of enormous value in keeping the pedals turning. I would recommend buying one."

Winter trainer
"Great dvd that works really well with the Cycleops turbo trainer. With the eight week plan this should get me ready for the early 2010 sportives. Would really recommend this dvd to anyone with a turbo trainer who is looking for some great indoor fitness training."
