"Tool requires 24mm hex socket or wrench.
A 24mm socket is usually via a half inch drive so if you are using a 3/8th drive on your torque wrench you will need an 3/8th to 1/2 inch drive adapter for the 24mm socket."

The Real Deal
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged, High Quality, Good Fit
"Had previously installed Campagnolo cups with Shimano tool, but one of my sons complained bitterly about the marks it left on the cups as they are not quite compatible. This tool does make a real difference - snug enclosed fit and the ability to use a torque wrench to get the cups 'just so' which you can't begin to do with the Shimano tool. Very good price from Wiggle for the tool too. Very pleased with this. So is one of my sons."

Simply the best for all brands of bearing cups

"Although specifically designed for the Campagnolo Ultra Torque BB, this tool works better than the SRAM/Truvativ specific tools or those designed for other makes on any BB cups, and is much deeper than generic BB cup tools. I had no problems at all with SRAM GXP cups, As I have the ceramic bearings I have to regrease the bearings & cups every time it rains and every couple of months, so ease of removal and fitting, and being sure I won't damage the cups, is critical. It's also nice to know that if I ever have a bike equipped with Campag ultra torque it will work on that too.
Along with that the the tool oozes quality, even the box, which for a workshop tool says something."

I passed out before the tool gave in
Pros: Good Fit

"I needed to change the bottom bracket cups as I was upgrading the chainset on an old frame. The old one had been in a few years so I was expecting grief.
The tool fits snugly on the bottom bracket, but a wee clamp helps to hold it in place. With all this done I set about applying as much pressure as I could to remove the cups. After 5 mins with no movement I stood up to try to relieve the sharp pain in my leg, the next thing I knew I was laying on the floor, a dull pain in my head and the hazy image of my wife standing over me looking concerned.
So I took a rather large hammer to it... more noise, less pain. A good 30 mins later the cups were out. All that and the tool doesn't even have a mark on it!
If only it came in a nice shade of blue..."

"BB Cups not easy to get off. Tried my cheap tool first with no success. BBCup damage.
Purchased this socket tool expecting a nice tight fit. Didn't get it. It fits fairly good, but still a little loose. With a big lever attached it still slipped off the BB cup.
Overall its a good tool, better than the spanner variety, but should be a tighter fit."
