Suunto skewer

"I have been using the suunto T4 for over a year and had some problems with the standard bike pod. The new skewer pod is easy to fit, accurate and looks great. I have had no problems with the pod and magnet detection or lose of connection with the watch. I would recommend this item to anyone."

"You don't have wires or even a computer on your bike - unless you use the bar mount adapter for your watch. The only downside is the lack of meters climbed (paired with a T3 in my case). Suunto is a step ahead in incorpoating Training Effect (TE) in their HR monitor. The unit is well built and adds only 10g to the bike. Thinking of getting the cadence pod as well!"

Great purchase

"I bought this pod to install on my road bike, I didn't want something hanging off the fork or on the chain stay so I went for the Skewer, and it worked out to be a good choice. You don't really notice that the skewer is there, only when you need to take the front wheel off, the skewer pod is about 3.5 inches long and I have never had a problem with it, just follow the instructions job done."

No brainer for Suunto owners

"Even if you have a bike computer plus a Suunto HRM, it's still a really good idea to get one of these because you can see your speed and distance info charted against time, elevation, HR etc when you download your data from your watch, which is quite useful.
The skewer lever looks small and svelte in the picture, but is actually quite a bit more bulky than a regular skewer lever. However it is lightweight and the profile is nice and aerodynamic when viewed front-on."
