Comfort at last!
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices, short on the leg, a bit see-through in white?
"I have tried numerous women's lycra shorts and these are by far the comfiest I have ever worn. I bought them as a liner to go under winter tights for road biking or under my pants for mtb and they are perfect for this job.
The waist band is soft and flat so doesn't nip into your waist, the pad is really well fitting and very compact considering how well cushioned they feel. There are also no seams up the inside or top of the leg so you are not left with invisible short marks when you take them off! I am a british size 10 and I decided to get the medium and this a was perfect fit so I would suggest going up a size to get the correct fit.
As cycling shorts go, these are very 'short' in the leg so best for summer or as liners. The gripper material around the leg means they avoid riding up so this does compensate a little for their shortness. They are also fairly revealing material i.e. I got the white and I'm not sure if I would be wanting to wear them on their own. I haven't had them long so I can't vouch for the longevity of these but they look well made and for the price you can't really go wrong.
These are fantastic value and a really good pair of shorts/liners"

Castelli Ladies Cocoon Short
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Lightweight
"I was so excited when my new red shorts arrived. My exitement soon turned to dissapointment when I put them on. They are see through from the front & the rear!
While they are the best fitting & most comfortable shorts I own (& I have tried many) they are relegated to being worn under my tights."
