Bullet proof patches

"After standing at the side of the road in the pouring rain with a flat tyre and a self adhesive patch that wasn’t adhesive, I decided it was worth buying an old school repair kit. Nothing like a 7 mile run in the rain with your bike to put something in perspective. These patches seal well and can stand a good 125psi with no worries. Everyone should have something like this waiting at home to avoid buying inner and after inner and inner............
In short you dont need anything else froma repair kit, except maybe a few more patches when you run out."

"THIS IS A SAFE BET PURCHASE.
It is always a pleasure to buy a product that "does what it says on the tin" so to speak.
This is one such product. Small compact box that fits easily into your saddle bag.. even a small one.
The patches are held on a foil back and you can easily peel them when needed.
Comes with abrasive paper and vulcanising solution that work really well.

Traditional method... and still the best!

"Fancy pants ways of preventing and repairing punctures will come and go.... but my tool bag will never be without a Rema puncture kit. Ok so self sealing tyres and sticky patches might seem more modern, but to make a permanent repair to an inner tube, only this kit will suffice.
There is a little bit of faffing involved (clean the surrounding area, apply glue, wait, apply patch, wait...). Your patience is rewarded when you peel back the clear plastic square to reveal the nicely adhered patch. If you need any more reason to use this kit... replacement glue and patches are available... which is nice for the "green" minded."

"A great little kit for your saddle bag/ rucksack - a must have. I always have at least one of these kit at home spare as you never know when you'll get that nightmare ride when the farmers decide to cut the hedge rows! You can spend most of your ride fixing punctures making your inner-tube look like a patch work quilt!
If applied properly these patches never leak and provide a perfect seal to get you back on your way. I haven't tried the Park Super Patch kit yet but you can't go wrong with these little fellas"

"I have used this brand before and am quite happy with the performance of the patches and solution. However there is no french chalk nor anything to abrade it, unless you want to contaminate the sandpaper. The box is also very rattly."
