Fastest tyre out there
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight
"This is an out and out, fast paced XC racing tyre. As such, do not even think about using it for "normal" riding, it is not designed for this.
If however you want the fastest tyre out there and one of the lightest, then get this. I use the 2.25" as the thinner version is very narrow and in the wider size it is a very usable tyre on the rear. On the front conditions need to be bone dry, but on the back it is OK in worse conditions.
Puncture resistance is below that of a normal tyre to keep the weight low, so keep that in mind and don't use on rocky tracks.
Used in the right conditions and right track this tyre is brilliant and performs exactly as intended."

fast tyres

"These tyres are not cheap, or any good in really bad mud. They are brilliant as race tyres. Wiggle cheapest for these - (£45+ elsewhere) I fitted the 26x2.25 to mavic ust crossmax wheels, with latex joes sealant. These are the lightest tyres that have actually held air in the sidewalls for me - only 400g for 2.25. Running at 25psi they are really fast (mainly Thetford). Not as bad in mud as you'd think."

Perfect race tyre

"I bought these tyres for a 105 XC race and let me tell you I was disappointed. This course had everything form Road to Rocks fire trails and single track with some light mud.
They are fast on the more hard packed sections of the course but still hook up on the looser terrain. I actually took a set of Rocket rons off to ride these and they are by far allot faster and I felt they were better in the corners.
In summary If you are racing you will not get any better than these. If you are a weekend warrior then I would suggest something with more rubber."

"These tyres are the best I've ever had, albeit for harder/shale type tracks which are common around my area. The grip is v.good and the lightness and speed on the fast sections is very impressive.. The cost is higher than most tyres but then Schwalbe in general are more expensive."

Would definately recommend using both.
Seriously though the tyres are superb, fast rolling and more traction than you would think. No puctures or issues so far. Buy them if you can."

"This tyre is very light at 310 g on my scale, just weigh your tyres to see the difference in wt. and its rolling wt that really matters. they are very high quality easy to fit and so far no puntures at all. lets be honest I would not use them in wet muddy conditions but for dry summer use they are the buisness. In the winter I would use my schwalbe rocket rons or racing ralphes. To cut to the quick these tyres are Fast very Fast ,I cannot think of a faster lighter tyre out there. I can really recomend them and I had to buy them .I rate them 100 out of 100 ."

It's been a wet winter and my beloved Daisy hill tracks have turned to mud, i've tried maxxis medusa tyres which are great but semi slick tyres like the fast freds also work well in mud, don;t believe me?? well try it it works. the good thing about the schwalbes is that you can have them on ur bike for hard pack, racing what ever and you will whip ur mates when you use them!!"
