"I've used one of these for every type of ride, long road rides, commutes and off road, it has performed flawlessly.
It folds up small enough to be stored in a cupboard.
I replaced the saddle with my favourite "charge spoon" and the grips were replaced, not that there was anything wrong with the originals but I have my favourites.
The only drawback is the anodised finish, in places it has scratched easily from storage and I have found that initially the seat post kept slipping but I fettled that by cranking up the tension in the seat clamp, I think the issue is to do with the sleeve Dahon use in the seat tube, but for numerous rides now I haven't had to adjust it.
The only real issue I can see is if the bike is used for a lot of off road the rear derailleur will get damaged, the bottom jockey wheel is very close to the ground.
But I'm being picky now, this is really a really good bike and as it's so adjustable both me (6'2) and my wife (5'5) can use it."
