Excellent braking power
Pros: Durable, High Quality
Cons: Expensive
"Expensive pads, but well worth it. The OEM pads that came with the Cane Creek brakes on my road bike were abysmal and I swapped them for these long before they wore out.
These were a massive improvement in both wet and dry conditions. They've lasted well, too."

nice brake pad
Pros: High Quality, Adjustable
"This brake pad is smooth and soft when applied. It has a good response without sending you over the handle bars."

Great Pads!
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Versatile
Cons: high-end market price
"You could say brakes are brakes and as long as they stop you, you should be pretty happy!
But Swissstop pads have impressed me enough that they are all I use at present. With a range of different pads for different purposes (i.e. rim type, weather conditions, durability vs. performance etc), these have a lot of research and effort go into them, with results that are genuinely noticeable.
Some other pads I have used have been cheaper, but with the result that they wear down incredibly quickly, don't grip as well, wear the rims... all manner of things that don't fill you with the same confidence that Swissstop ones do.
In the long run, these pay off and in one of the most important areas of cycling - stopping as and exactly when you need - they excel where others falter.
Plus you get free stickers! So what's not to like?? :D
Happily recommended to anyone considering.

best dry weather pad
Pros: High Quality
Cons: Expensive, Wears Out Easily
"These pads work very well in the dry. I'm very hard on my pads. Working as a courier I'm consistantly after something that works better and lasts longer than the last thing I tried.
But they wear too quickly in the rain. They where advertised as being the ultimate all rounder. And unfortunately I think they don't work as well as Kool Stops.
I lost about half of the pads on one wet day this week and they aren't cheap pads. Maybe next time I'll try the ones specific to wet weather or go back to using Kool Stops."

"Simply excellent.
Swapped these for my orig spec shimano brake pads after a particularly wet descent where the shimano pads failed completely.
No dramas with these at all"

Expensive but quality product
Pros: High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Wore through my current 105 brakes very quickly and bought these due to the reviews. Glad I did, very solid quality pieces. Very easy to fit and the quality is excellent, great stopping power. Will be buying these for my back brakes when needed."

Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, good performance
Cons: Expensive
"I fitted a pair of Mavic Aksium Race wheels on what is now my winter bike. From the start I found braking performance left something to be desired and many adjustments of even new blocks could not eliminate squealing on the front. Fitting these blocks has markedly improved stopping power in wet and dry conditions and stopped the dreaded howling. They look good and have a good range of adjustment and so far appear to be quite durable. The only downside really is the price but I have to say that they have been worth it. I will buy this product again."

Solid performance at a price
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"Very good braking performance in dry and wet conditions. They are a lot more expensive than competitor products however, but there is no doubting their quality."

Better than others I have used!
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Bought these to replace the standard pads fitted to the canti brakes on my cross bike, a 2010 Kona Jake. The original pads the bike came with performed very poorly, these Swissstop are definitely a big improvement and fitted the Kore canti brakes easily.
I have only ridden in the dry so far and was reassured that they made an improvement, at this price I would have been so annoyed if they hadn't!!!! I hear they are just as good in the wet and look forward to the next wet ride now!
Make sure you clean your rims when fitting, my old pads had coated the rims in loads of c**p, after cleaning the rims properly these new pads really came into their own."

Good upgrade
Pros: High Quality
"I run a Shimano Tigra groupset and have just stuck with the standard Tigra pads, but went for the Swiss stops as I wanted to go for a cartridge system – got a few miles now and am very impressed, much more controlled braking – you really feel you have control in slowing a descent and that you are going to stop when you really need to! Much improves the Tigra brakes and will probably delay me needing to upgrade the whole calliper until it actually wears out."

Not worth the extra money
Pros: Attractive, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Not worth paying the extra. Not any better than Shimano blocks fitted with the bike - Focus cayo. Let's see how they are in the wet, but in the dry - no difference."

Brilliant brake blocks
Pros: High Quality, smooth, silent
"I tried a few alternatives brake pads on my road bike and none of them matched up to the originals fitted to the bike - they were hard and not as effective when braking. I finally realised the originals were Swisstop and fitted replacements - now back to terrific, quiet braking. Not cheap but well worth the extra money."

Expensive but good quality
Pros: Adjustable, High Quality
Cons: Expensive
"Silent running. Easy to fit - they don't twist as you tighten them like some blocks.
Will have to see how long lasting they are, and how kind they are to the rims.
