Comfy Knees
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Lightweight
Cons: Poor Fit
"I bought these along with the arm warmers too. Unfortunately my legs aren't as developed as my arms and over the course of an 8 mile ride in they drop from thigh to mid patella level. My working around this problem was to buy a pair of cycling shorts and l tuck the tops under the shorts and v-wala no more chapped knees from early morning breeze. They fold down small to carry home too.
Thanks dhb.

Good value for the price
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"These were a good impulse buy. Good for in between weather when it's to cold for just shorts but to warm for leg warmers. Super small when not on so can easily fit with your other kit. I got red which are super bright and may not be to everyone's tastes (but I like 'em)"

Stylish knee warmers
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I have found these knee warmers to be well fitting and that they help maintain body heat around the knee area for a more efficient pedal action. If you are looking to keep out external cold then a thicker (e.g. roubaix) knee warmer would be better.
Like other users of these I tuck the top end under my shorts to ensure they stay in place.
I like the stylish cut of these knee warmers and I'm not too fussed that there were only red ones available. They are bright but I don't mind a splash of colour.
The only downside is having "dhb"printed on the side. In NZ that stands for District Health Board - the equivalent to "NHS" in the UK. But I'm only being a bit tongue-in-cheek about that. A good product.

Anatomical shape and snug fit
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"The dhb Earnley lycra knee warmers fits perfectly and don't slip down. The remain perfectly on the under the cycling shorts. I ordered a pair in red color because the more classic black was not available in L/XL. But the red also suits my team dress color. The are good for some chilly days in late spring and early summer if you want to protect your knees from the cold."

Pros: Attractive, Comfortable
Cons: silicone does not grip
"I bought these ready for spring riding and was pleased to have bought what I thought were a bargain as I've bought DHB kit before, on first appearance they look to be of good quality material and constructed with multi panels for a good fit.
Having tried them on in the house I was pleased with the look and fit . Now the bad news on the first outing they slipped and fell down as I walked from the car to set my bike up. I initially had them under the hem of my cycling shorts, so I tried them over the hem, same result. I persevered and tried them on the bike whilst cycling round car park , not good, down they came again.
Looking at the silicone gripper it just doesn't seem up to the job, comparing them to silicone on other bits of kit there is actually very little grip either that or I've got Teflon legs.
I ditched for the ride and wondered if I'd got the wrong size. I ordered small/medium as my legs are neither twigs or of Hoy proportions.
My conclusion is that the silicone is just not good enough and I would not recommend these knee warmers.

Seem to do the job
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: less of a warming affect than expected
"First time I've worn leg warmers of any description so I'm not exactly sure how these stack up against others. They compare well money-wise though, look great and seem well made.
I sort of expected a significant warming effect which they don't really deliver but they do make a bit of a difference all the same. For the price and from what I roughly what I expected I'm happy though.
Bought small/medium and they fit fine and I'm a normal sized bloke, definitely not a spindly cyclist by a long chalk."

Not enough sizes
Pros: Great Value, High Quality
Cons: Poor Fit
"I bought the small/medium size, when I would usually purchase a small. They slip down a bit because they are not tight enough on my thighs. They're still very effective though and I will use them anyway."

Mother's Knees
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged
Cons: Unadjustable, Poor Fit, not designed for odd knees
"Bought a set of these knee warmers to wear during the winter months. I opted for the medium size as they would fit snuggly around my knees.
Unfortunately I inherited my mother's boney knees so the warmers fit perfectly around the upper calf and knee, but don't grip well on the lower thigh, leading to slipping and folding.
Rectified by stitching up the thigh grippers by a couple of centimetres, they now stay put during frantic pedalling. Swish!"

Does exactly what it says on the title
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"These knee warmers do exactly what it says on the title, keep your knees warm on chillier days. They were good value and they stay in place even when spinning quickly. The fit makes them comfortable and there are no seams on the kneecaps etc which might cause rubbing. If you want knee warmers for cold winter days then buy the roubaix version which are fleecy on the inside but these are ideal for chilly days when you don't want to wear 3/4 length bottoms or jsut need something over your knees at the beginning of hte ride."

Pros: Great Value, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Unadjustable
"Do the job if you're out on the bike at 0800 when it's cold, but u don't want to wear long trousers 'cause it gets warm at 1100 on your way back.
So about 0930, u can take this off, fold up small to fit in pocket.
These do fall down if u don't tuck the tops into your undershorts. if u wear the undershorts, u should be ok.
Any slight knee problem u have, u should cover them up. Cold knees are only going to make the joints worse.
The bike saying is 'If it's too cold for a T-shirt, it's too cold for shorts'.

Warm Knees
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"I don't like 3/4 length shorts & don't like to wear long trousers unless there is Ice about, but my knee's have started to feel the early morning cold & start to get stiff.
Dhb leg warmers certainly hit the spot, keep my knees warm on the way to work & I can out then in my bag for the home trip, when its warmed up, no more need to take extra shorts with me.
Great buy & well recommended"

Functional
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit
"If you want a little extra cover in slightly lower temperatures, these are for you: decent snug fit: just make sure you get them tucked under your shorts and high up your leg. They should sit there nicely.
They come to just below your knees and do the job.
