Okay, taken a while to breake in.
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: stopping power isn't great
"They are a high quality build but I was a little surprised at how long they've taken to break in. The stopping power is slightly better now than what it was when I first got them (around two weeks ago) but really, nothing to write home about."

"I mainly choose these pads for their price but have been pleasantly surprised how much of an improvement in performance they have been over the stock shimano ones. Wet weather performance is stable and predictable. Fitting was about as simple as it comes with both front and back sets going on with no issues."

Excellent replacement pads

"When these pads arrived I was a little sceptical as the packaging said they were for Campag Record/Chorus/Centaur 2000-2005 and I wanted them for Veloce 2009 Skeleton brakes which came with one piece blocks/pads. I'm glad to report that they fitted just fine and actually gave more scope for adjustment than the originals.
This morning they were thouroughly tested over 15 miserably wet Cornish miles, including a 2 mile downhill stretch. I would say they are equally as good if not better than the original pads and with the polished housing look ten times better and I now have the option to fit a range of pads to the housing when they wear out.
So pleased am I that I have just ordered a pair for the front."

Excellent brakes

"I had Tektro brakes which wore out and got two pairs of these as a replacement. I couldn't be happier. They took me 10 minutes to fit with a simple allen key, not my braking is rock solid. I can't speak for how long the pads will last, but given the pads are replaceable (which my Tektro's weren't), I can now look at Koolstop pads or something else high quality.
Great brakes (so far)."

No nonsense cheap blocks

"Bought these as a replacement for Shimano 105 blocks that had worn down. They are well priced and do the job of stopping the bike well. I have no fears that the bike won't stop in a controlled fashion, even on fast descents or in the rain. Reasonably good adjustment, and they look pretty good too."

Last ages and can replace pads
"Bought these to replace the stock tiagra pads on my road bike. They seem to last very well, certainly much better than the Shimano pads, and stop at least as well if not better in both wet and dry conditions. This is the second set of these I have bought."

Great for a cheap upgrade to cartridge brakes

"I got these blocks as a cheap upgrade from throw-away brake pads to cartridge-style blocks, and for that, they're great. These are about 1/4 the price of Shimano Ultegra blocks, and aside from the pads they're pretty much identical.
Get some Kool Stop pads to go with them if you want extra stopping power."

"I think its been over 200miles now and the pads have yet to wear down unlike the set that cam with the bike that basically disintegrated after 150 miles. Haven't had the opportunity to use them in the wet as its been dry these last couple of weeks, but otherwise a good buy and so far so good."

"The Ashima brake blocks are well made and look good. I have only had them a few weeks however and a London winter will show actually how well made they are. For the fashion conscious amongst you they are very shiny when you get them out the packet! I think they are excellent value. The only draw back is that the pads supplied are cheap ones that do not stop you very well so my advice is to change them out as soon as possible."
