Oily trousers? No more
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, Adjustable, Versatile, Good Fit
"Simple, easy to use. The Nylon weave in mine has started to separate at the edges but I've had mine for about 3 years now, so it's only to be expected.
Saves buying specialist cycling trousers and means you can just tuck your normals trousers out of the way of the chain and other moving parts."

not sure if they would work
Cons: not elasticated
"These are well made but since they are not elasticated I am not sure that they would stay in place. I returned mine and bought some elasticated ones that work very well."

SafeTFirst
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: could be cheaper, poor fit for skinny ankles
"These are excellent additions to your safety gear. Because of this I prefer the yellow version as they are more useful during daytime,
Velcro should be longer to make it tighter around the ankles - which could make the reflective strip shorter - not desirable, so it needs a workaround. On the other hand you can also wear a second pair just below the knee to compensate."

"great stuff, easy to use.
the reflective material is too short,
its good to have it longer, so both way of the traffic should be seen while you on road.

Doowah, ka-ching, ka-ching!!
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, Adjustable, poketable
Cons: Expensive
"Does the job it's suppose to; saves your trousers/jeans from being torn, shredded and oil stained. The one gripe has to be the price - yes it has saved me from expensive repair costs, but Zefal must be able to produce and sell this at a more reasonable price."

Bicycle clips??
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Perfect for making sure your trousers don't end up in your chain.
A little expensive seeing as you only get one and not a pair but they do up snugly are reflective and stop your trousers flapping about. What else can you say.

Great buy but expensive
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"From a quality and function perspective, these ties are excellent. Because they use velcro they are very comfortable. However they do seem expensive for what they are. Overall though, I'm just about OK with having spent the extra to get a good product."

Does what it is suppose to do
Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"Zefal Doowah Cycling Trouser Tie does what it is suppose to do, but that said this isn’t the most difficult thing to achieve. I have been lured by the branding and feel disappointed with this purchase. The cost of this product is far too high for a single tie and would be far more expectable if it came in a multi pack."

great product
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"I was using the metal band/clip for keeping my right trouser leg away from the crank but I was finding that slipped down and felt restrictive. This simple (but effective) alternative fits very well, isn't restrictive and you don't notice wearing it, and it hasn't slipped down whilst in use. I personally don't wear one on my left leg as there's nothing to snag on the left side of the crank so one should be fine for most."

they work
Pros: Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Better than old fashioned trouser clips which were always uncomfortable. I haven't found they come off and also use them to tighten up the bottoms of my waterproof trousers. They are expensive though"

Does what it says
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"Works for me, easy to use, but perhaps a bit pricey for what it is especially as it comes as one, you have to buy two for both ankles/legs !!"

Useful for Commuters
Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
"It's a very simple concept, but the trouser tie makes a very large difference in convenience if you tend to wear long pants while cycling. It's much more convenient than rolling up your pants.
You simply loop it around your leg, affix the velcro, and you're done. As easy as that.

Does what it says
Pros: Durable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Straps on with velcro and has a reflective strip on the back. It does fall down a bit if you get off the bike and walk but while riding it's fine. Does it's job and you get one in a pack."

so so
"I wanted two ties... as I cycle with flappy jeans some of the time... I had not looked closely enough to realise there was only one in a pack, so had to buy another... it's not very good value to have to pay £8 or so for 2 wee bits of nylon with velcro attached to be honest... good though apart from that"
