First 'real' roadbike
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"I have had the pleasure of owning my Kiron MTL-Blade for a month now and thought the time was right for a review. As a passionate and commited mountain biker I was looking for a way of not only improving my bike fitness but also speeding up my 25 mile a day round trip to work. After countless hours searching the internet and local bike shops, I eventually decided that the Kiron provided the best value for money on frame material and groupset. The only problem was what size to go for- the geometry chart on the website is good, but does not tell me what would be the best size for my 6 ft frame. In the end I went for the large and found it fits me perfectly.
The bike arrived on time and all that was required was to fit the bars to the stem, slap on the pedals and ride it! The guys at wiggle have done a top job setting the bike up-after 500 miles I have not even had to adjust the tension on any cables.
Longest single ride so far is 100 miles with no problems whatsoever-Some people recon the saddle is a little on the firm side, but I have found it suprisingly comfortable. The riding position seems ideal for longer rides and you have the option of fliping the stem for a more upright stance. I have been talked into doing a Lands End to John O,Groats ride next July and I am confident that I have chosen the correct tool for the job in the Kiron.
Would I by one again? absolutely.

Looks so cool in flesh.
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: noisy rear hub
"The white flash might steer you off the buy button however until you actually see it in the flesh you won't understand its beauty.
The bike is soo smooth to ride all the gears clicks in place as you flick the lever while you start filtering through traffic.
All the specification are spot on oozing with quality and flash, these shimano 105 parts and FSA are spot on at this price.
What I love about this bike is that you get all these envy looks by other cyclists when you start overtaking them.
While the rear hub is noisy and loud this might counter the issue where pedestrian can't hear you coming from behind.
The noise factor also play a role in lazying around(coasting) so you are forced to keep pedaling if you don't like the noise.
Not really bothered myself it kinda motivates me to keep pedaling.
There was a small issue with the shift lever however wiggle managed to replace and send out a new set within days.
Top marks for wiggle customer support team!
Great bike at a great price with a superior online retailer such as Wiggle to help you with whatever issue you are dealing with,
You won't find a better bike online at this price and especially this kind of service.

What a bike!!!
Pros: Attractive, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, 'head-turning'
"I agonised for ages over this purchase. I weighed up loads of options and eventually my head met up with my heart! I wanted this bike from the moment I saw it. I wasn't upset when it arrived, it looks stylish and expensive. I was a bit unsure about some of the components such as the Tektro brakes and the Fulcrum 7 wheels. I have not owned Fulcrum wheels before and the 'clicking' noise takes a while to get used to but I don't notice it any more. The Tektro brakes will probably be the first thing I upgrade but they do work ok. The build quality is very good and the ride is excellent. The 105 components are fantastic and I would have expected to pay more for a bike like this with these parts. I did have a slight problem with the left STI which is often the case with 105's but Wiggle were excellent as usual and replaced it for me. I didn't have time to complete the work myself but Wiggle offered to do so for me, paying for postage etc too. Overall the admiring nods from other cyclists and motorists alike have proved to me that my considered purchase was the correct one. I have plans to upgrade certain aspects of the bike and I will do this over time, but the quality of the bike only make you want to do this. Would I recommend? Yes, yes, yes."

First bike, Very Impressed
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"When I first saw this bike I fell in love with it straight away and when I saw the spec I decided to up my budget the extra £200 so I could buy it.
I had been using a friends road bike and fell in love with cycling so I decided to buy my own. The first time I rode this bike I realised it was in a different league to my friends planet x.
It is very light and smooth, thanks to the easton frame and the shimano 105/FSA components.
It is one of the best looking bikes around in my opinion and I have had some good coments from fellow riders.
The only draw back as far as I can see is where the 2nd fixings are located for a bottle cage etc.. as it stradles the gear mount.
Otherwise this is a brilliant bike for the amount paid."

Back after 30 years
Pros: Attractive, Great Value, Lightweight
"My first road bike in over 30 years so a long considered decision, and I am very happy with the result.
The spec (at the price), other reviews and the positive comments about Wiggle all helped me decide.
The bike looks great, fits well (Wiggle gave good advice) and is a joy to ride. Delivery was fast and the whole thing dead easy to put together.
The only reason for the 4* on Quality is that there is a small amount of lateral play in the front wheel bearing. I've never had sealed bearings before and am not sure if this is usual / acceptable; and Wiggles customer service reply to "take it to a local specialist" was not very helpful!

Light, Fast and well kitted.
Pros: Comfortable, Great Value, Lightweight
"This is a great piece of kit and you will not regret the purchase.
I was originally a tad pensive about buying a bike before I actually saw it in the flesh. But as soon as I opening the box I never I had made the correct decision.
I tried loads of other models by various manufacturers in this price range and nothing compares.
Also a big up to the Wiggle service team, couldn't ask for more help from them."

Pros: Attractive, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"This is my first road bike and a joy to ride. Very responsive, fast and and ideal for varied terrain. I have done about 500 miles now on a 16 mile ride to work each day. This has saved me 20 minutes a day versus my much more expensive MTB. Very easy to set up after prompt delivery from Wiggle. Service team helped ensure I got the right size."

Sexy Beast
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: noisy rear hub
"I can't believe how easy it was to put this bike together opened the box and was on the road within the hour. The first thing that strikes you is the quality of the Easton frame, the paint job is outstanding and the welding is absolutely flawless. I have looked at lots of bikes before purchasing this and after a couple of hours in the saddle I know I have made the right choice. The spec of this bike is excellent value if you were to purchase a bike of similar quality it would cost in excess of £1000. The bike handles like a dream quick and responsive just the way a race bike should be. I have fitted race blades to mine as I plan to commute daily to work round trip of about 18 miles, I wish it was a lot further! Done my first 50+ miles on Saturday on a mixture of different road surfaces and wearing the right type of padded shorts it was as comfortable as it gets. My only gripe is the ticking rear wheel hub which guys in my club tell me it's a sign of quality, guess I'll just have to keep peddling!"

Awesome bike
Pros: Attractive, Good Fit, High Quality
"After 6 months of bike shopping, I decided on the Kiron MTL Blade. Wiggle shipped it to Italy. It arrived with minimal assembly required and was perfectly tuned. I'm 70 inches tall and the medium is just right but wouldn't suit anyone bigger I reckon. Impression of the ride is excellent -very responsive and little to no flex that I've noticed. The brakes are ok, but not amazing. The crankset isn't great either but I plan to upgrade when chainrings wear out. Those are my only gripes but I knew about them before I bought the bike. Overall the bike is awesome value and great performance and rides like a dream!"

Love at first sight
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"Now and again, I let my heart rule my head. Thus, I fell in love with a picture of the Kiron MTL Blade and, in true Wayne's World fashion ("It shall be mine, Oh Yes....."), I decided I had to have one. The bike, not the picture. My romantic folly was soundly underwritten by the ride it and return it if you don't like it/ money back guarantee; not completely away with the fairies.
Anyway, dear reader, I kept it. The Kiron is a great value for money bike, and I love riding it. It feels like a much more expensive ride and the 10 speed 105 cassette, not always found on bikes at this price, gives a good progression of ratios. The whole package feels strong and light.
My only gripe is that I really bought it as my winter training bike, but I'm reluctant to get it dirty. Not sure how long that white bar tape is going to stay white. Still, that's what happens when you let your heart have it's own way."

exciting first road bike
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, good 120mile/week commuter
"with trepidation I ventured into the realms of road bike shopping and after many hours of searching, confusion, excitment and bewildermant I found this gem. The delivery was very fast (as usual), the bike was very easy to set up - pedals on, handlebars on, packaging off and away I went. The finish of the Kiron is excellent with admiring glances from many other cyclists and non afficonados! I have now cut my commuting time by over 4 minutes, and the FCN game is ever more enjoyable !!
The seat has taken some time to come to terms with and will be subject to upgrade soon but everything else just fits and works smoothly and efficiently. I don't hold out much hope for the bar tape to stay white for too long but hey small point... overall very pleased and looking forward to many more (s)miles.

my new bike
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"having taken up cycling again seriously to keep fit and with a view to entering some local time trials i have been searching for a bike to replace my old steel frame viking. Finally i choose the kiron mtl it has lots of good parts fitted uses easton tubing making it very light which is very apparant when riding it the shimano gears are very smooth and slick to use the brakes are exellent it feels like the bike has minimal rolling resitance and has allowed me to up my average speed over my 12 mile route by 1mph the mtl is great to ride and i' m sure i will get faster on it and have great fun on the trials, well worth buying."
