"I changed to the 758 in July after my old and trusty 911's finally bit the dust. I have been running regularly since the 1 Jan 2010 (training for my first marathon in October). I have been a big fan of NB trainers for a number of years, having suffered shin splints and lower leg injuries with other trainers. I have narrow feet, high arches and have a neutral gait. With regards to sizing I range between 4 - 5 for normal shoes and I usually find that I take a size 5 in sports shoes, but with NB, I find that the 5.5 is a better fit (allowing me to wear slightly thicker sports socks and special "made to measure" insoles. My advice, if you can't get to a shop to try on a pair is to go up only 1/2 size. I tried on a size 5 in the 758 model, whilst it fitted, it seemed a little on the tight side. I ordered a 5.5 online on the basis that my preveious traineres were also a 5.5. I put them on and ran 18 miles straight from the box (I'd broken the heel on my old pair!) with success - not a blister in sight. The ride is light and cushioned and I have been so pleased with the product that I have just ordered a second pair to see me through in to next year!"

"New replacement for a pair of worn out shoes. As expected, New Balance is most comfortable in terms of fitting for those with wider feet."
