LifeLine Mini Front Light

It may look like other lights out there, but it doesn't cost as much and does the same thing so why would you choose another? The ultimate solution to emergency lighting!

LifeLine lives up to its name.
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Lightweight, Versatile
"The LifeLine Mini Front Light is a must have! In fact at the great value they are, buy two at the same time ... on for your bike, and one for your keyring! And buy them up to put into Christmas stockings or as birthday presents.
They are so small and compact that during the winter months mine basically lives on the bike, for those rides when I get caught short by the fading daylight. Coming off the MTB tracks late in the day, I know with it in flashing mode, I will be safe riding the couple of km's home on the road.
In the dark it is just bright enough on the constant beam setting to see. I actually got caught out the other day on one of the pine forest single tracks; it got dark and the LifeLine was just that, it gave me just enough light to make my way out.
They are the best lights for you keyring too, so lightweight and compact you don't know it's there until you need it.
Highly recommend it.

What a great Idea!
Pros: Attractive, Great Value, Lightweight, compact
Cons: limited adjustment
"As an emergency device these lights (both front and rear) are a great concept. Small enough to fit in your pocket or tool bag - with no excessive weight or bulk - these can potentialy be a life saver. My son and I soon put them to use on a road run, which started out in brilliant weather but deteriorated in foul conditions with little warning. Visibility became really poor and the bright flashing diodes could be seen from a good distance - as I can vouch from following my son.
The method of fitting is very neat, but does have it's limitations, with the manufacturer warning not to overstretch the elastic. I could not fit my front light to my handlebars because the elastic would not stretch over the padded part of the bars (and other items such as bell and trip computer occupied the unpadded areas) but it fitted to my front forks with no problem. Similarly whilst the rear light will attach easily to a conventional seat post it won't go anywhere near a carbon fibre oval post such as fitted to a Trek Madone.
These points aside this a good value for money product with a very important function if you are "caught short". It is so compact there is no excuse for leaving it at home!

Stick it on your helmet for extra flashyness
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I bought this to stick on my helmet as an addition to the lights have attached to my bike. It works really well. They are extremely lightweight so you don't a difference when their stuck to your helmet. I'm sure they'd also work attached to any thinner part of your bike."

Its a mini light. What more can I say
"It works good. Its cheap. I would recommend you get it. I love these little lights as you can take them off and put them onto your bags etc, when you need to. I have heaps of them floating around the house from different brands. Essentially they are all the same though. This ones does seem to rotate a bit more than the others though."

Lightly light
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Adjustable, Lightweight
"It's a nice handy little light to have on my key ring as a back up and in-case-of-emergency situations -- battery dies/forget main light etc.
it's actually bright enough to be used insterad of my main light!

Best light purchase yet
"Brought this on a gamble as was on offer but brilliant item. I have attached it to my spokes to help make me more visible . Seems to have done the job with the looks I get . Sure would also do well on a key ring. Need to be careful with the elastic strap / loop."

Useful to keep around and very bright!
Pros: Great Value, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile
"I bought this item to give me an inexpensive light to keep on my bike at all times, in case I was caught short in darkness without my main lights. For that purpose, it's brilliant - it's discreet, so unlikely to go missing, but even if it does it's not going to break the bank. It's just about bright enough to provide emergency illumination in darkness, and its flashing mode is fine for making you visible on streetlit roads.
However, I was also planning to use it on my commute alongside my main front light, in flashing mode, to draw attention to myself. Here, one of its advantages actually becomes a disadvantage. It sends out light in all directions, and because it's so bright, the glare is quite distracting and actually detracts from your night vision! I tried mounting it underneath my handlebars and on the front fork, but to no avail - it's still in my field of vision.
If you can mount it out of your sight, or you can construct some kind of rudimentary cowl, it'll make a very good secondary light in addition to your main one. Otherwise, you might want to stick to using it as an emergency fallback option, or perhaps on gloomy days."

Mini front light
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
"Excellent bit of kit, gives off a lot of light for its size, also gives off l surrounding light as it has a clear body.
So small it could be used as a keyfob.
Claimed battery life also impressive."

Very good
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: Unadjustable
"Great little light that does what it is supposed to do.
The only drawback is that the cord is a little short.
But for the price it gives great value."

Cheap and cheerful
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight, Versatile
"This is small rain-resistant light that is useful as a backup or secondary light. I found it easy to attach mine to my helmet, and it's still easy to turn on and off in that position. Obviously, this is not really suitable for use as a main light on its own - but what do you expect for the price?"
