Great value
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"I purchased this HRM/Watch to replace my old "well known brand" one. This watch functions very well and looks great.
Initially it took me a few uses to get used to the functions of this watch, but once i knew how to use it all was fine!
The data stored for review is max, average + min HR as well as time/lap time & calories. The timer function is great, i use it for counting down while i swim laps at set intervals. For running and riding, personally all i'm after is total time exercised, min, max and average HR and this watch easily stores this info and is easily able to be veiwed during training and reviewed post training.
For the money i spent, this represents great value and i would recommend this HR mon & watch to other customers.

Great training companion
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
"I have been really pleased with the watch. I used it for a 15k run and it was great to have the km split times.
It is comfortable to wear and good quality. The indigo light is very good.
I plan to use the watch for triathlons in future"

was a good buy
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, Lightweight
"the watch does everything it says it can do. my only problem was that the heart rate zones did not correspond with what i had been using on my old HRM,
they read very low once you put weight in. so will play with this. very light to wear as well

Great Investment
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"The Timex Ironman Tri Race Trainer Full Size HRM is easy to use. First time using a Timex and have found it easy to use even with the instruction manual. On rides and runs the display is easy to read and the review capability is great for the end of session review. The Timex watch is also comfortable to wear and HRM strap is comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone regardless of ability or level of fitness."

Helped get my PB
Pros: Rugged, High Quality, Versatile, less lazy runner
"This was my first real HR watch so the chest band felt a bit odd on the first run but didnt notice it after that. I'm a bit IT chllanged so setting up watch was a bit difficult but all was sorted within 10mins and havent looked back. Watch is a really useful tool - easy to see HR percentage whilst running and it helped me on my very first run to do a PB. Have manged to do 3 PB's since which I attribute directly to the watch making me less lazy!! would strongly recommend - not too expensive, easy to use and makes you a better runner...."

GPS is for showoffs
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"When running long distance what you really want is a comfortable simple watch that you can work out on the run (literally). I don't get this bulky uncomfortable, expensive GPS watches. Just run! What really puts me off the new GPS enable watches is that you need to recharge them every week, along with your mobile phone, your laptop, your toothbrush.... This watch is great, got everything i need, it's comfortable, looks great, does the job and doesn't need recharging for at lest a couple of eras... simples!!!"

very good hrm
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Versatile
Cons: a bit complex
"brilliant watch but i don't know if its me but it seems very complex to just record your heart rate at the click of a button used it in a dualathlon and it was brilliant didn't help my performance but did help for future training"

Does the job well
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Good Fit
"Works well, easy to use and loads of features. Only complaint is that it is sometimes possible to activate the split button with your cuff when cycling, but this won't happen when the weather warms up."

Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit

So far so good
"I've had this watch/HRM for only 3 weeks and still gettng used to functions. Lap timer options are excellent but HRM can take a km or so running to settle down, despite wetting. I now put the HRM band on 10 mins or so before exercising which has overcome that problem. The different viewing options for HR, lap time. split time etc are excellent. I would recommend this to friends and others."

All you need
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I just needed a heart rate monitor with a interval function (I set it at 20 minute intervals to remind myself to drink/fuel during races). This watch fit the bill and works very well. You can save multiple training sessions and retrieve the information later on to compare. It is just a really good heart rate monitor!"

Triathletes take note
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit
Cons: slit times display
"Bought as a replacement for a Polar RS200 which I felt was a little complicated for your average age group triathlete. In this regard the Timex IM is great easy to use & can switch between features on the run easily. However if like me you train with a HR monitor but race with out it, you will be surpriced to find the watch will only show your total time & split time at the same time when you have the HR monitor on which is annoying on the run leg when you want to pace yourself. Odd for a triathlon watch!"

Excellent watch
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit, easy to use
"I have had a couple of Timex watches prior to this and both were very good, extremely accurate, lots of features and lasted very well (still going strong after 3 years except for velcro band) and this H.R.M is proving to be just as good with a much better strap and of coarse heart rate functions. Very easy to use even for a techno dummy like me with quite a good instruction manual. My only gripe with it is without the chest strap on you can't display both lap time and split times. Other than that an excellent watch that's easy to use and read."

Pros: High Quality, Good Fit
"A keenly priced HRM that is well built and has a good dose of features that would be suitable for anyone.
The manual is clearly written and I had the watch setup in about 10 minutes and in this time had learnt how to select most of the features on the watch.
The strap is comfortable and I do not even notice it anymore as well as the watch display being easy to read means I think that this has been a sound purchase."
