as good as it gets!
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality
Cons: Expensive, Limited Color Choices
"Because of the cost of the jacket I was a little apprehensive in purchasing this jacket. But since I’ve had it, I’m happy with the purchase. The jacket looks great and I really like the reflective strips on the jacket. There’s enough pockets to keep your things in and vents to keep you cool if the weather warms up. I had to wait for a really rainy day to test this jacket out. Gear up and hit the trail. This jacket didn’t disappoint!! It keep me dry and fit is just right, not body hugging and not too loose. I didn’t use the hood so I can’t comment on it. When I took the jack off I did notice where the seams were sealed it did amount some moisture, I’m guessing this wasn’t Gore Tex material?? Either way the jacket keep me dry and I’m happy with the purchase. If you can swallow the initial cost of the jacket you’ll love this jacket."

99.9% Perfect!!!
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: Expensive, no front pockets
"This is without any question the very best jacket i have owned!!! perfect fit, does exactly what it says!! You can forget rain, the cold, wind etc.. and is very lightweight!!!!! which is just great when you are out on a tour and have to pack lot's of things, The only down side is the lack of front pockets!!!! instinctively you go for them to find that they don't exist. this would be 100% perfect if the guys at Gore added a couple front pockets, same colors etc... apart from that, this is a great jacket, a bit expensive but well worth the money, you get what you pay for."

Only the best will do
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit, i could go on...
Cons: Expensive
"Like many before me I was at first sceptical about the price. As soon as I opened the package however any concerns went out the window. I knew it was worth every penny. In life you get what you pay for and this jacket is no rip off. It oozes quality in every respect. It looks good, feels comfortable and you know it can cope with any amount of wet weather. I was concerned by some reviews who said you should get the next size down as I am a large and medium was not available. I would say the Gore size guide is spot on and large in fact is the perfect size - phew.
Well done Gore another cracking jacket, shame it's discontinued.
Now I'm sitting here praying for rain.....

Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Waterproof, breathable and very durable, the long zips under the armpits are brilliant to open while riding to cool you down quickly when things warm up. When it's really cold, the high snug collar with stowed hood, velcro ties at the cuffs and adjustable elastic draw strings as the base are perfect to keep the wind and water out, As a commuter, the Napoleon pocket is perfect for easy access to an ID and swipe pass to open security gates at work. The waterproof zips and welded seams really keep all water and wind out. The attention to detail is amaizing from the inside of the jacket with a full seam welded patchwork of fabrics used to give a great fit and complete freedom of movement."

Perfect jacket for lower intensity
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Water tight. Perfect for commuting. Good fit, allows for warm layer underneath. At higher intensity you need to open the ventilation zippers."

good all weather bike wear
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"a good, breathable, strong bike jacket.
i m wearing it, everyday with a backpack in my shoulders, when i ride home-work and return. It is comfortable and warm enough, with 2 layers underneath, even with -5 degrees celcius in winter time in France.
I appreciate especially the collar part of the jacket around the neck, where wind always comes in and get you cold. A lot of technical parts, pockets, zips on sleeves when you get warm. I do not feel wet after a 1h ride, and it is as breathable as you may wait for. Good quality even if the price seems a bit high. Another choice in the colour could have been fun.

Pricey, but awesome!
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, Limited Color Choices
"This is not cheap and I ummed and aaahed for a good 5 minutes before deciding to go for it. I have not been disappointed. It has performed admirably through the recent snow, sludge and rain in London . There are many good waterproof / windproof cycling jackets available for considerably less money, so here is where I think this one stands out: It looks superb. The fit is second-to-none, so you never notice you're wearing it. The reflective strips are good, making it ideal for city night riding, despite being black. The hood is excellent: it fits snugly (ie stays put), never obscures your lateral vision and keeps your ears warm when tucked under a helmet. If you can get the cash together for this jacket, you won't be disappointed."

Mtb now
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Can't fault this. Classic mtb understated colour -black - but in privacy of your own home have a look at the snazy interior and tell no one! Ultralightweight - easily stuffs into med hydration pack but the warmth / insulation is fantastic - thin base layer and thin jersey under was comfortable riding through snow for several hours - no sweat at all but unfortunataly does not wick away knackeredness. Fits as it says it should - am 5'10 and Medium is medium with correct length arms to cover top gloves. It is expensive and I know its a bit knaff to say you get what you pay for but as a tight fisted Scot believe me this will be the best enjoy winter jacket you will ever buy. Have even tested robustness by flying over handle bars twice - snow fine / ice no - not a scuff - but am sure will keep testing - as living /riding Northumberland has its little weather problems. Buy it get out and have fun as remember you don't have that long till boring summer comes."

In this case, you really get what you pay for...
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive, Limited Color Choices
"Is this jacket expensive? Why yes!!! Does it work flawlessly? You bet!
It is, by far, the best jacket I've ever owned for mountain biking. It has endured some pouring rain and it kept me dry from the outside water AND dry from the inside sweat. The hood is a must. Unbelievable quality, excelent workmanship. The only problem is really the price tag, But if you're like me an all around mountain biker who rides in the sun or in the rain, then this is a truly valuable piece of equipment.

Best Waterproof on the market
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Good Fit, highly waterproof
"Great jacket, looks and performs superb. It is very warm also so do not put too much on underneath. All in a a great buy if your doing alot of miles or commuting to work. I train all year round so for me it's a bargain due to the weather we get here.
One final thing, the sizes are I'd say one size up so if your a medium get a small etc. But check Gore Bikewear website as they have a great sizing chart. I'm a 36 - 38 chest and I went small."

Very good jacket
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality
Cons: Expensive
"I have tested this jacket in cold conditions and also in very wet conditions. It is definitely warm (much warmer than my previous Altura Attack Jacket) and is totally waterproof.
The hood is a nice addition, but the tail that you can open out can get caught on the seat as you dismount or move about. I dont think it adds much value to an off roader, but might be nice on a road bike (have not tried it on road yet - when it rains I prefer off road!)
Two criticisms. Firstly the venting panel on the back is exactly where a rucksack goes. This means that if you are wearing one the jacket does not `breathe' as well as you might like. Secondly, the two vents under the arms wich are zippable are way too long and open too wide.
Overall, however, this is definitely the best jacket I have owned (and I have had a few!!)"

Fantastic Jacket
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Expensive
"Having used Altura and Endura Water proof jackets in the past the Gore Fusion II is a dream. I've ridden for 2 hours plus in driving rain and the body has kept dry. No leakage through the seams and zip and with the vents open any sweat evaporates away. Expensive but well worth it."

Gore Bike Wear Fusion II
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile
"There are many bicycle specific jackets out there. Having owned many of them including Endura Stealth jacket, the Gore Fusion II is well worth the money.
The Gore Fusion II is a warm jacket. I used it below 25deg F with only one base layer on medium to fast intensity off-road biking. It is very comfortable jacket. You will forget about the fact that it is freezing outside. It is lightweight and it get's out of the way when you are racing.
Likewise when it is snowing or raining outside, the Fusion jacket keeps you dry. It is as water proof and wind proof as it gets. Not to mention it is easy to clean. The hood is a plus. You can wear it underneath your helmet.
I like the Fusion II as much as my Endura Stealth jacket. I use them both sparingly. If it is dry and clean outside, I will wear my Stealth. The fusion II is more versatile. You can wear it on and off the bike.
This is the best bike jacket money can buy! It simply performs. I love this jacket. I gave it 4-stars for the arms are too long for me even when seated on a bike. You can get them altered through Gore Bike wear authorized repair shops around the world. I figured, the arms are better long than short. You might even get lucky and it would fit you perfectly. Gore's fit chart is spot on."

Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
Cons: only 1 front pocket
"Used this jacket for the first time last week in wet muddy conditions. Kept me really dry and the windproofing meant that I was warmer than usual. Lightweight and really smart looking - even happy to wear it out and about. The reflective details on the front are not pockets though - which is a bit irritating for day to day use. For biking tough, this is the perfect outer layer - 5 stars"

Perfect November (Northern Germany) Gear!
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good Fit, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Expensive
"If you like riding epic cc-trails even in wet, muddy and cold conditions "Fusion" keeps you dry and warm. 3h hours in heavy rain were no problem at all. Perfect fit in size xxl for a big guy (6.5, 100 kg) like me. I consider this as pure sports gear -so recreational users may find some pockets lacking."
