"At first I was a bit put off by the price of this jersey but having now received it, I can see why it is expensive. Has to be the best quality jersey I own now. Lots of nice little touches and the rear/side pockets are a novel idea. It feels like it will be warm enough for colder days but at the same time wont have you boiling in the bag on warm days, despite its "Thermo" title.
Had concerns about fit and the sleeve length but although the sleeves are a tiny bit longer than usual, they are not overly long as some have found. I have "normal" length arms by the way!!. Once on the bike and stretched out you can't really tell anyway. I'm 6'0 tall - 82kg with a 42" chest and the LGE fits like a glove. Not flappy, a nice tight stretchy fit.
I highly recommend this jersey, I'll be buying another one in the future!!. Top marks for Wiggle's delivery time as well, awesome!!"

"My first piece of Gore and I have to admit, it is GREAT! Already when opening the package the quality already caught my eye. The fabric itself is awesome has a little fleece within and when trying on it was a perfect fit. Well, it could be a little bit loser around the chest, but I have nothing to hide over there! My size is L with 188cm lenght and 102 chest size so XL would be to big.
The sleeves indeed are long, but I only see this as an advantage as this easily covers your ending of the gloves and because it is longer than average, I did not feel the sleeve pulling back as I have with other jerseys with wind coming in.
I have tried it with 12 degrees and very windy and unfortunately it misses the windstopper fabric but it still does an excellent job! Will use this for my daily rides in the nearby fields at home and I will use the windstopper jacket for mountain and colder rides as we near winter."

Great for the colder days

"Bought this last week as the days are getting colder and i wanted a jersey with long sleeves but didnt want a full jacket.
I was a bit sceptical about 2 things - the warmth and the fit - i just found the sizing to be a little bit strange - a large is somewhere around 38-40" ??!. However, im a 41" chest (6 foot tall and 35" waist) and went ahead and bought the large in full confidence i could send it back for the XL if this turned out to be too small. i need not have worried because the Large fits me perfectly !
I bought the red/black version and its better than the picture. The jersey just shouts quality from the moment you take it out of the packaging. There are 2 side pockets, positioned near your hips at the back on the left and right and both have good zips so thats a great start for house keys, wallet etc. There is another chest pocket with a very good zip (i use it for my phone) and another couple of open-top pockets on the back - useful for pump, tyre levers etc etc.
the main zip is also very good and looks like it will outlast the rest of the jersey so no problems there.
on to the fit - i agree with the previous reviewer in that the arms are a tad long but thats a non-issue really as its such stretchy material that it easily gets to the right length when you're riding. I found the jacket to be just right for the colder morning run i went on last week. think the temperature was about 5 deg C out there and all i had was this jersey and a helly hansen long sleeve lifa top underneath. i wansnt cold at all and somehow i didnt get too hot after and hour in the saddle either.
the colours and style are great, quality is top notch and its doing exactly what i bought it for. overall im extremely happy with it and will probably buy another next year but in a different colourway just to give me some choice on the saturday and sunday rides.
oh and unzipped at a tea stop it doesnt scream "cycling" to people nearby - in fact ive used it walking the dog as well - makes a nice casual top
dont think about it too much - buy one !!"

"I have never reviewed a product before, but this Long Sleeve Jeresey is 'Just Brillant'. I would by another tomorrow.
It can be worn by itself or with a thermal base layer. Either way it is very warm.
It looks good, and having all of the easily accessible pockets means that you can store all of your gels, keys wallets, phone and even spare gloves and sunglasses. And best of all, you dont have to get off your bike to get to them.
Initially, I thought that the sleeves were too long, which they are if you are just standing around, but when riding, the extra length comes in really handy to make sure that no gap appears around the wrists.
Just buy it.......I don't think you'll be dissapointed"

Jacket or Jersey?
"I ordered this with an Assos ij tiBuru and Santini AcquaZero for comparison; determined to keep 1 or 2 from 3.
The other two were definitely fleecy winter/spring jerseys which was what I wanted. The Gore was a thinner wind proof jacket which would have required a long sleeve base garment. Boring colours compared to the others - this went back.
Size - I am a 40-41in chest, 104cms, the large was a reasonable fit"

Solid choice for a light winter jersey

"This is a very high quality jersey. Gore kit is really really well finished. Some really nice features including the vertical zip pockets on the back and the heart pocket on the front.
A couple of comments:
1. It's not a wind stopper so on the coldest rides, you'll need a wind stopper base layer or gilet
2. The arms are really long which is no big issue, better too long than too short

High quality, warm and comfortable

"I bought this jersey to wear over a baselayer and sometimes under a waterproof jacket in the spring, autumn and winter while commuting or out on my road bike.
Out of the packet the quality of the material felt very good. There are some nice touches such as the soft collar with zip garage, rear zip pockets so you don't lose things and grippers on the shoulders and the rear hem. I know some people on here have complained about the arm length which I agree is long but it I don't have a problem with it as it provides a good seal to your winter gloves.
While on the bike I've not been cold in this and not found anything to complain about. The fit is very comfortable, it looks good and wind doesn't get through. It is a little expensive compared to some competing products but the quality is that good it's irrelevant. I can't comment of the long term durability as I haven't done enough miles in it yet."
