Limar Pro 104
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Lightweight
"Really comfortable fit and whats more really light.
The strap adjustment is good, allowing for snug but comfortable fit.
This helmet is right up there with all of the big brand names and has added Italian style.

Head saver
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit, impact resistant
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I didn't hesitate in replacing the Pro 104 Ultralight with same after damaging it in a high speed crash - my MD says it probably saved me from severe head injuries.
The lightness and ventilation properties are superb for the tropical conditions of Queensland.

Great helmet
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I was pretty much satisfied with my Giro-helmet. Until last summer a wasp flew into it, got stuck and stung me in the head. Let it suffice to say: you don't want that. So I did a little research and this helmet had all the specs I wanted: superlight, totally not bulky and small nets to keep out the bugs. And if you should fall and break it, Limar will give you a new one for half the price. Nice!"

A well sorted lightweight helmet
Pros: Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit, 3 year half price crash replacement
Cons: slightly awkward straps, forward 'v' in vision
"If you're looking at this helmet, you're likely to want it's lightweight credentials confirmed first, so for the record mine tipped the scales at 195g for the 56-61 cm size (large). On inspection it's not at all over-flimsy, just pared down and simple, with a good understated shape that looks neat on the head, although if it's Sci-Fi fins you're after you might find it slightly underwhelming, as it's perfectly functional and bug netted vents keep things reasonably cool, but don't exactly shout pro peloton. The fine adjustment of the fit is simple via a rear facing dial that can easily be tweaked on the go and I found the full set of internal (and chinstrap) pads to be more than adequate for comfort. The closure on the chinstrap works well, but there's a slightly awkward feel to where this strap negotiates the ears, as it tends to want to stand out a bit and doesn't fit quite flush. Having said this, the helmet is very nice to wear and as others have said, easy to forget about, save for the slightly distracting foremost 'V', that just dips into vision when riding (although those used to peaks probably wont find this a problem). All in all then, a great lightweight lid that doesn't feel compromised on safety."

what helmet?
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, poor decals
"I decided to replace my, very, old helmet with something nice.
I tried lots of them before settling on this one. It fits great and once on is so light you forget you are wearing it. There is a lot of ventilation so my head doesn't overheat while racing and the mesh screen stops the bugs getting in. It feels good quality and has stood up to daily use over the last few months. The helmet even comes with a guarantee to replace for half price if you damage the helmet in a crash.
The only downside is the decals are stickers and have already started to come off, not a big deal, but will probably start to look naff when they eventually peel off. They could easily have sealed them under a clear coat to stop them coming off.

LIGHTEST HELMET
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"THE LIMAR PRO 104 REALLY IS UNBELIEVABLY LIGHT AND COMFORTABLE AND IS A FULL 100 GRAMS LIGHTER THAN MOST ANYTHING OUT THERE.
LOOKS GREAT TOO.
IT IS SO LIGHT YOU MAY FORGET YOU HAVE A HELMET ON AND IS A GREAT BENEFIT ON LONG RIDES WHERE NECK FATIGUE MAY SPOIL YOUR PLEASURE.

Lightweight Helmet
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good Fit, Lightweight
"There are times when a non helmet wearer (through personal choice) is compelled by event or country regulations to wear a lid. I found this to be the most unobtrusive so far used. Light, with good adjustment and fit. Suited my purposes admirably."

Lightweight helmet
Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight
"I use this helmet primarily off road and like the way it stays in place. In particular, it doesn't lift up when descending. Besides being remarkably lightweight it is reasonably comfortable. I suffer some arthritis in my neck and this helmet has made it possible to ride longer without pain.
But probably best to try one on before buying. I liked it enough to buy a second.

"I thought I was shipped a box of air. The lightest helmet I own. I ride a recumbent and the design is the best I've had due to the bug screen weight and cut."

Highly Recommended
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"As advertised, this helmet is ridiculously light. The first time I used it, not long into the ride I forgot I was even wearing a helmet. If you're looking for a helmet that doesn't have that silly "mushroom-head" appearance of most bicycle helmets, this is the one. I had a bit of trouble at first getting the chin strap adjusted properly, but that's all."

Lightweight and stylish, but . . .
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Lightweight, protection against bees
Cons: Expensive, Low Quality, Poor Fit
"I bought this helmet for its retro good looks and uber-lightness. I still really like it for these reasons. I've also come to value the superb insect net that protects the vents in the front of the helmet. Why can't Giro or Bell offer this feature?
Nevertheless, this is one of the least comfortable helmets I've ever worn. Additionally, the straps for this helmet are a bit of a mess, and I have my doubts that it would stay on in a crash.
I guess I expected a lot more for the price. Riders who are interested in weight and style above all else will probably be willing put up with this helmet's flaws."

Lightweight Lid
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Lightweight
"This helmet is the lightest on the market and looks fabulous compared to my old one. I previously had something very cheap which looked terrible. The surprising thing I found was that there was only 50g difference between this and my old helmet which was a lot cheaper. So you will probably only gain yourself an extra energy bar in the weight department. It's quite comfortable but I did have to do something with the excess strap length after my first ride as it kept flapping against my ear."

Very light, very comfortable
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good Fit, Lightweight
"You wonder if this is perhaps too light? Would prefer if it came slightly lower around the side of my head, as it does all seem slightly too high- perhaps this is how the weight has been saved.
It adjusts very easily, at the back and the sides, and sits well. Very light, good ventilation and been pleased with it for 3-months now."

Lightweight Italian style
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit, Lightweight
Cons: not as stylish as others
"I've had mine a year now - and it's my choice for hot weather days. If you want to ride without feeling you're wearing a helmet, get the 104. Fit is good and secure, particularly the ratchet headband. Mesh in the front keeps the bugs out too. Perhaps doesn't have the style and carbon inserts of other brands,"
