A Must Have
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"If you have a Joystick like me, you need the helmet mount. I've only ever had the handlebar mount before now but with the helmet mount it brings a whole new level of sophistication to the exposure series.
Unbelievably light yet sturdy & adjustable.
It's a bit of a pain taking the mount on and off for day v night rights but well worth it when you use the joystick.
My only reason of the average rating is that its very expensive given the materials & ease of construction."

Exposure Helmet mount
Pros: Comfortable, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Excellent helmet mount, holds my joystick really securely, i cant imagine it coming off even in a crash.
I bought it separately as it worked out cheaper buying the joystick and the mount separately rather than all together!"

It works but expensive
Pros: Durable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"as in the title, it works but is expensive for a few bits of plastic. seems durable enough though and is useful to have 2 different length screws to cope with different thickness helmets."

Practical and effective mount
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: none yet
"Great head mount that is easily transferable to different helmets unlike some other mounts that require cable ties and time."

Let there be light!!!
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, Adjustable, Versatile
"How did we ever manage before decent reliable lights emerged. i remember early lead acid sets which made trips at night exciting, but in a very bad way. Uncertain charging, rapidly dimishing light. Not pleasant, or safe.
The Exposure Joystick Mk5 shows how the world has changed, and for the better! A single XPG LED gives good, strong reliable light. The USB/mains charger gives easy options including the sneaky desk one...
The Diablo gives 3 times as much light, but the Joystick is cheaper, lighter, and as a back up to a handlebar light makes finding those sideturns in plantations much easier. i've lit up large buildings on night rides, and you could use the Joystick as your only choice. it will also last about 10 hours in the middle setting, so good enough for a weeks commute for most.
i've had to buy a new helmet mount (a bit pricey) as i dropped my helmet outside work, and broke one side of the clip/bracket.
Not sure about the flashing option - it's hard to enter and i don't want to look like the TARDIS...
Overall great buy and recommended"

Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, Low Quality
"Its a bit cheap and cheerful but does exactly what its meant to do. It could articulate a little more but it stays put in the setting you give it. I'm pleased with it but its a lot of £ for what it is"

joystick bracket
Pros: Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"If you want to mount your joystick to your helmet this does the job perfectly. Just a shame that you have to buy the mount separately when spending this much on a light."

Excellent helmet mount.
"I bought this replace the mount supplied with my Joystick - through no fault of the previous clamp I had managed to break the original one.
The clamp is very easy to fit to a helmet, however it seems to fit helmets with central slots better. Once in place it can be easily adjusted and never seems to move when riding."

Ok
"the swivel is a little loose and the light moves around when things get bumpy so a little bodging is required to make it work well.
frankly its quite pricey for 3 bits of plastic and a plastic bolt

Does the job
Pros: High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable
Cons: Expensive
"I brought this to use with my spark light. It does the job well, on and off road the ball joint is stiff enough to keep the beam where it was originally set up. It was easy to fit and adjust.
For off road riding I use two spark lights, one helmet mounted and one on the bar. If you only go for one I recommend the helmet mount.
Like all propriety accessories, it feels a little expensive for what it is. However the spark lights are very reasonably priced and the helmet mount does its job very well.

Bought to hold battery pack
Pros: Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"I have 2 of these holders on my bike helmet - one for the Diablo and one for the piggyback battery pack. Great set up - very secure, noticeable but balanced and certainly not heavy, great burn times. Coupled with a bright bar mounted light is the perfect set up."

Two different kinds. One works one doesn't
Pros: Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: one version doesn't work at all
"I ordered two of these from Wiggle. They sent me two different products. I assume one was an older version. It had no writing on it, no bolts came with it, and it doesn't fit the light. The one with writing on it fits the light and holds it firmly. it came with bolts that attach it easily to the helmet. The version with writing on it works great, the one without writing doesn't work at all. The product is worth buying, but make sure the company you're buying from is selling you the one with writing on it."
