Ultegra 6700 Rear Mech...,
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"Excellent! Cheaper than DA, put it on my winter bike but would happily use in best machine... Maybe a smoother change than DA? Looks much better in the new grey finish also."

Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Versatile, Good Fit
"Excellent product with Shimano's usual high levels of fit and finish. Runs whisper-quiet, meshes perfectly on my cyclo-cross bike.
Derailleur performs very well in mud and sand as well.

very nice
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Unattractive
"Typical Shimano a breeze to set up and runs like a dream, did not notice much of a shifting improvement over previous 105 mech but much, much lighter. Grey colour a little dull but overall very pleased."

6700 rear derailleur
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"replacement for 6500 derailleur which seems to be a slight improvement on gear changes.what I mean is that the changes are very crisp now although this could be down to replacing a worn derailleur."

Good performer
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
"I changed from the 6600 due to the extra ratios with the 11-28 cassette.
Personally I can't tell the difference between the 6600 and the 6700.
As per typical Ultegra the changes are sharp and crisp. Easy to install and adjust.

Ultegra short cage Derailleur
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"This is an excellent derailleur a huge step up from my 105, the changes are short and snappy, with no chain slap."

Shim 6700 Ultegra rear Derailleur
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality
Cons: fiddly adjustment on barrel
"Got this to replace a trashed rear mech of the same brand/model...so I know it works well.
I was thinking of downgrading to 105 due to the cost to replace, but Wiggle price meant I could afford to stay with Ultegra instead.
So, I'm happy with all aspects of the purchase.
Shifting is flawless on a full 6700 set up.
My only gripe with the design is that it is easy to strip the adjuster thread if you overdo the adjustment and end up with the spring pushing the barrel all the way out. It's a tad fiddly to get back in to place when your hands are covered in grease. Other than that it's a 5 * mech.

RD capacity improvement
Pros: High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"A free cassette is changed to 11-28. It substitutes it probably because of exaggerated capacity ..becoming of changing the speed for 4.5 velocities instability...
It is very adequate in [su-muzu]. It is not high as consideration. The finish of the surface thinks that the grade falls than before."

Slick Little Rear Mech
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"An excellent item, Paired with a 52/39 Ultegra 6600 SL chainset and 11/28 rear cassette, the Ultegra 6700 rear mech provides positive, accurate shiting every time. It is suprisingly forgiving and flexible, and doesn't miss a beat on those hills that appear unexpectedly round a corner. The metalic fInish looks good too, and scratches don't show as obviously as with Ultegra SL."

Easy
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"Brilliant rear mech. Bolted on and set low and high screws, attached cable and went for 17 mile ride without ANY mis-shifts. Couldnt be easier to set-up and looks good too.
Just for reference I use a compact chainset with 12-25 rear cassette and this works fine with it.

"Can;t fault the Ultegra gear set. I have it on my road bike and now on my TT bike. Good price. TBH i wouldn't pay to upgrade to the Dura Ace."

smooth shifting
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"quicker shifting than the 6600 supplied on 2009 bike.
I did chang rear cluster from 12 -27 to 11-28 and was told I had to upgrade to 6700, but was not necessary.

Smooooth shifting
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Just a cut above the 105 rear mech - smoother gear shifting with less noise from the rear cassette. Worth the money if you change gear a lot - and at my age I do :-)"
