Great fork at a great price!
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Wears Out Easily, weighty
"The RockShox Tora 318 U-Turn Coil fork is more than you will ever need. It is well built, has many adjustments and as a coil fork reminds me more of a usual motorcycle fork, being stiff and durable. The adjustable travel has a large scale but one thing to mention is that as you lower travel the spring gets stiffer. Nice touch is the remote lockout.
Only negatives are the weight comparing with some lighter air forks (it weighs 2245gr with uncut steerer and another 60gr the complete pop-lock remote on my digital scale) and the easily scratched paint which by the way is very nice looking in white.
Overall I am more than happy with the Tora 318 and looking forward to mount it on my GT Avalanche 1.0.
Higly recommended fork if you are serious mtber, want a reliable stiff fork and don't want to spend a lot of money.
First class service from Wiggle, I am amazed from their friendly communication, great price and ultra-fast shipping. Definitelly the best reliable web shop to buy from.

What a product!
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Great Value, High Quality
"These forks are the best investment in cycling I have made in all of my life. The price is good, they look great and they perform perfectly. In comparison with my Dart 3 forks these are in a totally different league – the Darts are in division 1 while the Toras are winning the world cup.
But why did I choose the Toras? Firstly the price stood out from all of the other rivals, and with all of the brilliant features that the Toras possess, such as the extremely useful U-Turn and rebound adjustment, it did, at first, seem too good to be true. However, willing to take a risk (that later paid off greatly) I decided to purchase these stylish and immense forks.
The addition of these to my bike totally advanced and increased its performance. The U-Turn enables a quick and easy adaption of the height of the forks meaning that you can tailor them individually to suit the terrain you are going to be riding on. The rebound is also extremely easy to use and outstandingly effective as well as the additional pop loc lever which can be easily fitted to your handlebars to disable the use of the forks when you are riding on roads but there is however a minimal amount of movement like all forks with this feature, which is no problem and allows small bumps in the road to be absorbed. In addition, I found it easy and quick to fit these forks to my bike but if you are however having difficulty with fitting them a local bike shop can fit them very cheaply.
I chose the white as colour scheme as it matches my silver bike as well as looking great! However I do believe it is also possible to buy black Tora forks. The vinyls consist of a very attractive design enabling the forks to look great: which they do. I have had no problems with my forks and have owned them for nearly 6 months now. I find they do not beg for servicing as regular as more ‘expensive’ forks do and I regularly lubricate the fantastic seals to maintain the fantastic performance. In addition to this I have been using these forks in extreme weather conditions and once again have had no problems with them.
Overall, I recommend this fantastic product to anybody looking to upgrade their forks to something with a reasonable price range in mind in order to gain maximum performance from your bike. I also disbelieve that you could find any forks that perform better than these for this price. You will not be disappointed!"

Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Great Value
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Fitting these, to replace my worn out Rock Shox Judy C's, totally changed the performance of my Avalanche GT. They quickly absorb the any steps or drop off's up or downhill. Rock gardens are no longer the nightmare they used to be. They poploc is easy to use and when locked still allows some movement, which is enough for most obstacles when climbing. The large range of adjustment on the travel should cope with any weight of rider over a variety of terains.
Easy to fit and with very good instructions.
I would recommend these to anyone and at this price they are unbeatable value.

Good deal for a cheap price
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Great Value, High Quality
"I bought this fork for about 60 Euros cheaper than in other shops possible. It has a very good quality for that price area. The fork works realy good. I just miss an adjustable poploc lever, the fork has a normal poploc lever."

good forks
Pros: Adjustable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I bought this because i busted my Marzocchi MX pro shocks,
had the bike out on the weekend and they are far better than my old ones, the lock out on the handle bars is really handy :-) and at £135 just a great bargain.

Much better
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, Great Value, Versatile
"I brought these to upgrade my Specialized Hardrock and oh my are they so much better than the standard forks. Now it feels like a real mountain bike and the ride is so much better. Having U-turn travel adjustment is great and the poplock lever is cool (but it only locks out or fully active - there's no compression adjustment which seems a bit silly as they could have sorted that with a simple ratchet in the lever). But amazing value at the price I paid."

Good times
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged
"Up graded to these from Dart 2's and like the other review, it's huge improvement over those. The forks are plush, feel strong and inspire confidence. I weigh 78kg and the spring is just right for me, i'm not sure how it would go with say 88kg+ it might need to be stiffer? I hammered the forks on a single track i know well, to make a comparison to the Darts, it's full of tree roots and small drop off's and the performance of these is worlds apart from the Dart's, these feel like 'real' MTB forks. Poc-Loc is great and gives 60mm or so of (stiffer)travel when locked which i find is the perfect amount for climbing. U-Turn useful and feels quality. They have transformed the bike (Giant Yukon 2009)."

Pros: Adjustable, Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Brought this to replace the quite frankly dangerous fork that came with my Specialized Hardrock Sport 09 and it is like having a whole new bike with this fork on. For a start it moves when youre on the rough stuff something the original fork failed to do!
You can adjust the rebound quite alot on the fork, from very slow to silly fast. The only thing i was disappointed at was it only comes with the standard NON-ADJUST remote poploc, but no biggy!
Overall an excellent fork

Lovely Plush Forks
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Rugged
Cons: Bulky
"The forks performed well straight from the box. Though a little on the heavy side this is not noticeable when riding. All the small and heavy bumps and hits were taken in its stride. For the money spent a great all-round sensible forks deal. Recommended!"

So versatile
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Great Value, High Quality
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Am really impressed with these forks. Upgraded from stock Dart 2s and the ride is super-plush but can take the rough stuff and not want to bounce me in the opposite direction. Thought poploc was a bit gimmicky but I was wrong. Use it all the time now.
Taken a couple of big hits so far and sailed through without a fuss.
Overall, a solid unit which inspires confidence and was a significant upgrade to performance, without the heavy pricetag."

Great Forks
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: soft standard spring
"Great Forks, especially for the price. Little soft for my weight, but with a stronger spring these are perfect. Easy to fit great adjustment and smooth on the track.
Poplock is a an added bonus, thought this was a bit of hype, but great to use on the tracks.
