Excellent trainer
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Lightweight, Rugged, you are riding the bike
Cons: Expensive
"I'm not a big fan of turbo-trainers as I find them so tedious if you want to do any serious mileage so rollers seemed a possible solution as other reviewers said time passes faster because you're actually riding the bike and concentrating on your balance. I bought the V-Arion as it has a built in variable resistance (0,1&2) and raised lips on the rollers to stop you riding off them. I'd never used rollers before so was a bit worried about how I would get on having watched Youtube vids of people failing to balance and giving it up as a bad idea. I set up in a narrow corridor and after a few wobbles I was fine. 45min ride first time out, now I'm in front of the telly while I pedal - it's easy and time flies by. The rollers are quiet and easy to set up once you've measured your wheelbase. The raised lips on the rollers are very helpful if you stray too near the edge and the step on the V-Arion makes getting on an off a doddle. Use on a hard surface and there's almost no noise at all, on a wooden floor it rumbles a bit. Only criticism is the price which seems a little steep."

Elite V-arion rollers
"Since 1994 I have used a turbo in the winter. I wanted to try rollers and after research picked the V-arion because of its variable resistance. Why didn't I buy rollers sooner - they are great. Despite 45 mins of fear getting the hang of it I'm now finely balanced and have to say with the major difference is that on rollers you ride a bike whilst on a turbo you just sit on it! This particular product will benefit anyone seaking a change from static turboing whilst still having an effective realistic level of resistance. Much easier to pass an hour on rollers than on a turbo and you still have under carriage sensations when you get off!!! No hesitation in recommending this product - weakest feature is they are a bit plasticy but on a plus are thus very light."

Good quality and quiet
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Adjustable
"After complaints about the noise of the turbo trainer, I thought I' try these rollers, as they had a 3 level resistance setting.
I hadn't tried rollers before but it didn't take long to get comfortable and they are very quiet compared to any turbo trainer I've had (liquid or magnetic).
A nice feature that I hadn't considered as essential is the lip at the edge of the rollers to keep you on track. It's saved me a few times now when concentration wandered a bit.
Overall I like these more than the turbo trainer as you're riding the bike, not just sat pedaling, so its slightly more interesting.
They are adjustable for different wheelbases as well and I've had my 54cm road bike and my son's XXS 650c bike on there, with only two bolts needed to adjust."

負荷装置付きの三本ローラー
Pros:

Pros: 魅力的, 軽量さ
Cons:

Not just for winter training
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Versatile
"Much more fun than a turbo trainer and great for smoothing your pedal stroke and improving your cadance. Resistance unit gives enough adjustment to get some extra variation in your work out, I'm genuinely looking forward to training sessions on them. Build quality appears very good and price is reasonable for what you get."

Excellent Rollers
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
"These are my first set of rollers after riding on a turbo trainer for a year. Purchased this set on recommendation from others users.
Have to say these are brilliant and easy to use though guess you would have to say that all rollers are east in comparison to a turbo, just sit on it and ride.
They came ready assembled with the only change required was the length between the rollers to better suit my bike.
Having adjustment on the rear roller makes these more variable and make for a wider range of training zones."

Quality rollers
Pros: Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Expensive
"I bought these for winter training as I only own one bike and didn't fancy putting my nice frame into a turbo trainer (no idea if it's actually bad for composite frames but for me, not worth the risk).
Whilst this doesn't provide turbo levels of resistance, it's more than enough to get you working and for me feels like climbing a shallow gradient, plus wind resistance, when you're up to 25mph+
The build quality is good, but not exceptional for the high price. That said, I've had no problems with it, it was easy to set up and operates quietly. It also folds down nicely to go in the car."

Great training device
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Bought this after comparing between trainers and rollers for training when I don't feel like going outside.
I was scared after reading and watching people starting using roller, seems i will be falling alot just like when I learned to use clipless.
To my surprise, all the fear was just a fear. The roller is easy to setup, just unfold, install the band and that's it, the setup is already set on the correct wheelbase length of the bike.
It's necessary to have something to hold on when first time riding on it to have the feel, and set the resistance to zero. Also keep your focus at your front like when you riding on road (the manual says 4 -5 metrest in front), I know it may be tempting to look down the wheel to make sure they rotate, but they always do and the bike always stays on the wheel.
And just like learning with clipless, the key is to pedal rather fast, to keep the inertia forward because low speed pedalling will only cause you to steer the bike left/right. But the way the drum setup like a cone helps the bike from thrown outside the drum.
This roller is amazing, I've started getting the hang of it after around 5 minutes and it will surely help me with coordination too since the drum doesn't move back/forward like the more expensive Elite roller.
Very light, easy to fold/unfold and move around. because it's light if you ever fall to the side, the roller may get pushed to the opposite direction from your fall."

first time was easy
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Adjustable, easy to set up
"this is the first set of rollers I have ever used so I wasnt sure what to expect, the first try it was just like all the other reviews said - like riding on ice. I set up in a hallway so I could hold on to the wall, but after a few minutes spinning and a couple of close calls I got up the courage and let go of the wall and I was surprised that I didnt fall off! now i can ride easily on the rollers without holding on to anything. seems to be a lot better workout than the wind trainer i have used previously and alot motre work to balance the bike which makes for a less boring ride when I am stuck inside. very nice. quality looks great and it was easy to set up and fit to my bike. I havent used the resistance settings yet but I can say that this is a quality unit."

great toy
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit, better than turbo
Cons: Expensive
"Ok, so they're a little expensive - I live in Scotland and, because of the weather, can only ride my road bike outside for a few months of the year. It's great to be able to saddle up whenever you want and go for a spin. I can set my laptop up and watch a movie while I exercise with these. They make a bit of a rumble when I go about 40km/h and I worry that this might be annoying for the people who live below me, but if I keep it around 35 I get a good work out and nothing rumbles. Difficult to get used to balancing at first but if you practice in a door way you'll get the hang of it after a couple of rides. After that it's a breeze. The folding capabilities of the product make storage easy. In terms of resistance, there isn't much, but there's enough."

important tip for users!
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"I choose a roller rather than a turbo in order to improve my cycling balance during winter training, this seem me an important aspect because i am a senior runner who lately introduces cycling in his training shedule, with a poor experience of "cycling in the youth".
This is a strong, well made and easy to assemble and set machine. It is a low noise home cycling device versus turbo.
BUT! be carefull on initial setting:
The set up instruction says " set the front roller in holes to wheelbase distance of the bike or slightly more, and nether less."
I did it with a 4mm excess of space.
This made the balance wery difficult to keep, first time i was quite unable to lift one hand from handelbar even after a 45' trial. As customer says balance is more difficult on a roller than on a real road I supose my own balance was really poor.
After 3 or 4 trials with the same rodeo sensation I change setting of theV-arion by one step of 20mm (one hole more) creating an excess of 24 mm and this changes dramaticaly sensations. I am now able to ride quietly, able to reduce speed a lot without lost of balance sensation, and remove hands from handelbar without fright to drink, look at my watch...
For more: for the same labour (130 heart beat per minut and cadence of 80 per min with resistance set on 0, a gentle "recovery session" ) I use a gear of 44/16 in the first disposition, and now a 44/12 ! this mean more wheels speed for the same work ( = better balance by more gyroscopic effect) and give sense to the adjustable resistance. I dont really understand how the change in this distance between roller may change so widely resistance of the system.
For more, comparing with other roller systems i think that raised lips of the rollers help me a lot during the initial "rodeo sessions" and stay today sometimes helpfull (when i look TV at the same time...). Balance work made the time spending faster a lot than on a turbo and maybe improve my ability..."

At first I was on ice also, but after reading this review and adjusting to 24mm larger than wheelbase, I was rolling wall free in 2 minutes.

Elite V-Arion Parabolic Inertial Rollers
Pros: High Quality, Adjustable
Cons: Expensive
"Well thought out design for the rollers addressing things like running off the side (raised edges) and tension adjuster to make it harder.
This is a great tool to help improve cycle style that can be used in conjunction with road cycling and turbo training. Don't think about it as a replacement for either, you still need to put in the hard miles to build up strength. What this will do is make sure that when you are putting in the hard miles you are doing so with a good and efficient technique."

Happy Dry Days
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable
"When its freezing, snowing or just blowing a storm this bit of kit keeps me training without the hypothermia. Basic but effective adjustable resistance.
Having to balance really keeps you focused, but its not at all difficult to get the hang of it, 10 minutes should be enough, by the end of the week you will be able to pop on your fav DVD.
Great stuff."
