One bike
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Limited Color Choices, paintjob
"Bought this bike in 2009 and with only a minor upgrade (stem, brake shoes, saddle) and an extra set of wheels I can do it all. Racing, commuting and even technical cross country (will take up to 1.9 tires) The ruggedness comes with a liitle weight penalty. However, I use the great WH-RS80/GP 4000s for racing, loosing some 2 pound rotational weight compared to the original setup. The Aksiums will take the rest. The paintjob will only suit weight savers, it won't even withstand cable rub! I'll have it properly repaint in time, for this bike is here to stay."

Good All Rounder
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Versatile
"I've been using this for commuting to work and intend to use it for a bit of touring in the summer. It has more road bike features than the Jake as it has double-compact chainring and lighter road tyres (plus the pedals clip-in side is useful for longer bike rides while the flat side is useful for commuting).
Around town it's much better than my old bike, which was an old road racing bike, and is much more controlled and quickier. The larger tyres are generally better given the poor quality of most roads, and the frame gives a more upright riding position (more like a hybrid). The only downside compared to my last bike is the breaks are mountain bike style and are slightly less responsive than road bike breaks."
