hands free running!
Pros: Comfortable, insulated bottle holder, lots of storage, reflective strips for night running
Cons: Expensive, Limited Color Choices, pocket not waterproof
"I bought this bag to use on 5 to 8k runs. Previously I had an arm pocket and was carrying my water bottle, but was finding my water got warm and the arm pocket either moved down my arm or chafed if I fastened it more tightly.
Things are much better now!
The insulated portion of this bag ensures that my drink stays cooler, and it is really easy to reach for and replace whilst running.
The only negative point is that from reading the description I thought there were going to be 2 pockets. The section to the left of the bottle is a large zippered mesh pocket and inside this there is a phone pocket. I suppose this does add up to 2 pockets, but I thought 2 separate pockets. Nevertheless, the pocket provided does hold my ashtma inhaler, my phone, house keys (on a handy hook!), ipod and there's still a lot more room in there if you need anything else storing.
If you were using it in bad weather it would let rain through as it's only mesh.
I did think I'd feel a bit silly running wearing what is obviously a glorified bum bag, but it sits in the small of your back, with only the strap round your waist, so you feel less silly!
With a full bottle (700ml) it can move up and down a bit whilst you run, but I find if I fasten it tightly this stops almost all of the movement.
Get one - you will love it!

Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable
"good design, good size bottle. the strap is too long--of course it is supposed to be one size for all. i cut it and heat seal it--perfect.
i don't know if the fabric area can be smaller--for balance the bottle--it definitely can cut the heat.

Like the adjustable belt
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"As I'm starting to train for a marathon, I'm running longer distances and needed some hydration system. I chose this item because of its popularity on this site. It's easy to use. I just have to get used to having to carry water on my back!"

Simple, light and efficient
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit, easy access
"A quality build item, that's still comfortable to wear. Having tried more cumbersome and unreliable alternatives I was both suprised and pleased. The quality of the drinks bottle matches the belt itself, and its easy to get to and use. Extra pockets are very handy. In fact, the item is so good it often goes out running on its own.... I made the last bit up, by the way."

Nice bit of kit
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"I got one of these a few months back and have only just got around to testing it on 15k runs and such and it is comfortable and fairly light even with a full bottle, but you must pull it tight otherwise it bounces around quite a bit.
Overall though it is a nice size with good secure pockets and a great bottle and a very reasonable price, I think any runs over 10 miles and you will need the Camelbak 1.5litre backpack ect but for anything less this is ideal."

Not as good as I thought
Pros: Durable
Cons: Poor Fit
"When I bought this, I was looking for a comfortable way of carrying a decent amount of water without having to notice it was there. This seemed the ideal solution. However, the belt will not stay tight and once loose bounces around very annoyingly. Consigned to a drawer until I can think of a means of adapting the belt strap."

Does the job & COME WITH A BOTTLE!!
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"I bought this item because I used to lug around a backpack. This has improved my aerodynamics and especially my comfort since then. The bottle easily slips in and out of the cage (which is at a great angle) and I can fit my tire repair kit aswell 2 snack bars in the pocket. The strap is easily adjustable and is made of breathable material.
Best of all it comes with a camelbak bottle."

Bulky
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Rugged
Cons: Bulky, Poor Fit
"I bought this for my daughter who is a road runner but for a slim person this is quite a bulky item and the large belt tends to slip.
Would be better if it came in different sizes and not one size fits all.

Not the Greatest bit of Kit
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: poor performance
"Bought this as an alternative to using a hydration pack as I thought it might be better. In terms of quality it's great. In terms of performance it is useless. If you are going at walking speed then I'd recommend it but anything over a jog and it bounces around everywhere. I got half-way up my street and the bottle had very nearly bounced out!!! A big THUMBS DOWN from me........"

A useful option
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
"This is a a great product if you have a few things to carry and want your hands free. Its especially good for long steady paced training runs but I found it can move a bit during racing. That may be just me though.
The phone pocket in the zip section is a good idea making things easy to locate and the bottle goes in and out smoothly. All in all, its a good option when don't want to use a back pack on long runs."

Good fit
Pros: Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, bottle stains
"This waist bag fits me properly. I find very confortable to run with it for long distance. There is enough space for mobile phone, housekeys, money, medications and gels.
There is one problem. The bottle stains if you put sports drink. My bottle is orange now. Otherwise I like it."

Excellent quality product.
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality
Cons: Expensive
"I've only had a chance to try it out once as my daily run is around 2-3 miles so I manage without it on a short run but it oozes quality and it is just the job.
It feels comfortable and is perfectly positioned when worn.
The only thing I would say is that it was a bit pricey compared to other brands but then again you get what you pay for."

Great for marathon training
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Adjustable, easy to access while running
Cons: Bulky
"I bought this bag to use during marathons, even though it states on it that it's better for short training runs. I probably wouldn't use it on a short run.
It fits right round your waist and after a few runs wearing it I'm now used to it. First time I wore it, I had the bottle and pouch round my front which felt awful... until I twigged that the bottle was designed to go on your back."

Does What It Says
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, High Quality, Rugged
"Bought to supplement a small running rucksack on the basis that Camelbak = quality.
First impressions positive, however the pocket didn't seem as big as described. There is loads of reinforced stitching which bodes well for its longevity.
The bottle is the practical Podium which is reliable, secure and easily cleaned.
The first outing was a 3 x 7mile training run with the bottle refuelled every lap. I had a phone, tissues and gels in the pocket. I'd say it was probably good for up to 90 min outings before replenishment needed.
No issues re comfort, no after run soreness.

"I'm very pleased with the Camelbak Delaney. I have been using it for walking. It is a comfortable fit, you don't even realise you are wearing it. The podium bottle is great and fit snuggly. You can put your keys and phone in the small zip compartment. As usual with anything camelbak it is very good quality."
