"Great buy. Seems a tad expensive at first, but compared to other heart rate monitor systems on the market, it's actually a bargain! But that is not to say it's a lesser product. Works exceptionally well and the online progress and achievement system is great at keeping you motivated. It might be a bit fiddly at first, with the three components to set up before you run, especially if you are a little less tech savvy, but once you get the hang of it (which doesn't take long) you'll be progressing in no time and you realise how easy it is to actually use. I'm only a casual jogger, but with this, i can keep track of my sessions and actually push myself further and do more efficient workouts. I actually look forward to seeing stats after each run.
In conclusion. Great product, great value, highly recommended!"

Great Fun
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, High Quality
Cons: no gps
"This is a great little unit that is easy to use and has been a good motivator to start running again. It picks up its sensors straaight away and it is a sinch to set up and use. Good if you want to start running. Follow the Mi Coach website and pick a program to suit you. Great little graphic setup showing you your workout.
Probably for everyone but the mega serious runners that need everything. No GPS either but thats not really an issue

adidas is my brand, for life.
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Not Enough Features
"I am biased to anything that carries the three stripes. Naturally, then, I found this product to be awesome... Even before I got it out of the box.
Lightweight and smartly designed, the pacer clips on and syncs without hassle. It specifically captures your heart rate and stride count with a coach keeping you informed along the way. All being uploaded to a very smart adidas website.
I bought it to tie-in with micoach mobile (which is a free app for smartphones).
But this, at the moment, is where it faulted. To get the information from both the pacer and the app to merge is problematic.
This is really made for runners, but I have made great use of it as a cyclist.
The potential is great. I certainly love looking at my stats, and seeing myself improve. I still love this thing.

when it works its great
Pros: Attractive, Lightweight
Cons: temperamental
"Is great for keeping you motivated, however have had some issues with it not detecting sensors, having a short battery life and generally being a bit temperamental. It is encouraging me to try new training regimes which will hopefully result in the desired results."

"Unfortunatlly you spend more time on help lines and computer than training with this product.
Everytime there is a atomatic upgrade of firmware there are problems with syncincg etc
When it works good but to many gliches."

Such a great little tool!
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight
"I absolutely love my myCoach! I love that it talks to me, tells me to speed up or slow down to be in the right heart rate zone and love that you can set up so many different types of training plans.
The only thing that I have found 'wrong' with it is that it sometimes seem to not turn on when I actually turn it on... but after turning off for about a minute and then back on, it seems to be fine... not sure if this is a common problem or not."

Micoach
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"Have found the micoach a really helpful training tool. A little difficult to set up but after going into the forum section on website sorted any little hiccups out. Have used it to train for a half marathon run and find the feed back from training runs awesome, you can see the improvement from all the data which also seems to motivate you to get out of bed at 5 in the morning. Would recommend this product to beginner through to pro."

Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit, audio feedback
Cons: limited to running
"Great little device that helps you maintain an accurate pace and train within specific training zones.
The supporting software I think is better than Garmin and Polar software, both of which I have used / use with my other HRM's.
Whilst training, the audio feedback is helpful, with no searching for light buttons of trying to analyse your running data as you go. The audio feedback tells you what you need to do e.g. speed up / slow down.
It is limited to running, but for sub £100 I think this is a must for those with specific running goals and want the added benefit of a virtual coach."

This will improve your running
Pros: Great Value, Lightweight, improves running
Cons: Not Enough Features
"As the title suggests, this will improve your running and encourage you to do it more. If you like to turn everything into a process (which I do) this will capture a huge amount of statistics to satisfy. This is worth the money but If you have loads of cash .....probably look at the Garmin range.
The problem with the MiCoach stuff is that not one thing you can buy will give you everything. I use the Micoach Pacer with a sync'd up Micoach Zone so I can see my heart rate, be coached by Jonny Wilkinson and upload my stats to the website. No GPS unless I include my phone ......its a lot of gear to carry around.
Overall, I enjoy running more with my Pacer."

Very useful
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight
Cons: Not Enough Features
"Having run with the MiCoach app for the blackberry with all its built in GPS I was sceptical about moving to a pacing device, but have found it very easy to set up and use. I chose this kit as I've built a database of my workouts with MiCoach and wanted to get a bit more serious about my training. This seemed like a (relatively) cheap and logical step.
After a calibration run (great if you know the distance you are running), it is reasonably accurate for distance, but the benefits you get from the training programmes linked to the Heart Rate Monitor really have improved performance.
If there were a few quibbles, I would ask for the update button to include a pace update (like the app) and also an update as to which heart rate zone you were running in. I know Adidas sell a seperate gizmo for this, but it would be easy to include here as this really helps guide your training.
I had a few snags syncing the download to the device, but after trying a few different USBs it seemed ok. The website offers a forum for ironing these difficulties out which helped.
I'm sure a version with gps in will come out eventually, but in the meantime, I feel this kit is great value, easy to use and would recommend to other potential purchasers"

Great Motivator
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit, lots of features
Cons: Limited Color Choices, fiddly to set up
"I bought the MiCoach to assist me to improve my running and to keep me focussed. So far so good. Being a "mature"runner I opted to do the pre assessment workout so that I had a handle on the heart rate zones. Working out within the zones will take some getting used to, given I went off the chart with my first workout. I have also made use of creating custom workouts and adding them to the 1/2 marathon training schedule. The training journal is a great feature and if you're a fan of charts and stats, like me, then there are enough to play around with and you can add your own notes. It took me awhile to work out how to synch the pacer with my computer and I did have to download a java program to get things working. All in all I am happy with my purchase and hope to improve my running times."

Excellent Training Coach
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Versatile
Cons: Expensive
"This has worked as a great training coach for me. I'd done a few 5k's before but wanted to up the mileage.
Pretty much covers all types of training. The on line system is great and I really feel motivated getting such accurate feed back following a run.
Great stuff Adidas, a bit expensive bu worth the investment - I love it."

Fantastic
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Good Fit, helps keep my motivated, keeps me interested
"The Adidas Micoach is fantastic. I have used it for about 3 weeks now and have had nothing but praises for Micoach. I have a garmin 705 and while the Micoach doesn't do gps it is fantastic to organise a workout and keep you on track. I love the fact that I can plug my ipod into the Micoach and the playlist plays my songs, while Micoach tells me to speed up or slow down. I love that it keeps track of my calories burned, distance and times. I have had no trouble setting up the Micoach and sychronizing each of my workouts. I have made custom workouts on the micoach website and it downloaded fine to Micoach. I think it is a great bit of gear and am very very pleased with my purchase from Wiggles."

Who needs a personal trainer?
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, Adjustable
"Easily one of my favourite fitness-related purchases EVER. Very easy to use and set up, love the analytical stats after each run, and very lightweight.
Here's how simple it is: I plug it in, set up a training plan for as many days a week that i wish, sync the pacer and off i go. After each run i upload my stats to see instantly my performance. After a couple of weeks using it i have already set a new PB for my local running route. Have also entered in to my first running event in years :).
May be a little more expensive than others, but i think it is worth it. Quite scary how accurate it is too. For me its a winner :)."

Adidas MiCoach
Pros: Comfortable, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, Limited Color Choices
"I love it. It is helping me to train for a marathon. The only downside is that you cannot see your heart rate but you need to have a ear piece if you want to know this at intervals during your training."
