"I have reasonably muscular calves - not Andre the Giant but not Twiglet legs. I don't feel much compression from these socks, therefore they seem like slightly odd looking, slightly clinical, slightly transparent long white socks."

"I am not entirely convinced that I would recommend these to a friend. I did find them beneficial in that I now tend to get swollen ankles and these certainly stopped that and in fact my ankles looked slimmer than they have for some time after a day on the bike. They also did keep my legs warm on a cold day. However, I am glad I did not pay the full price for them as they were on offer. I don't like nylon socks and this is what these are, however, that said, they were comfortable and I was not aware that I was wearing knee high socks. They are a good length and fit. I cannot comment on the quality as I have nothing to compare them to but they are good quality as far as I can tell."

"Rationale for this purchase probably not typical....had recent hip/pelvis fracture which has meant on extended period on crutches with non weight bearing on one leg. Once out of hospital bed and upright foot ankle etc would swell.
These have stopped that.
Look forward to testing them in a different capapcity!"

"I have only used them four times in long running sessions (over 13 miles) and I have made them a hole with my thumb. As soon as they arrived I knew this was going to happen as they don't have any reinforcement around the toes or the heel.
The compression is reasonable and I found them quite comfortable, however I think the durability is very poor and I would try a different brand."
