Jagwire Ripcord MTB Gear Cable Kit
Pros: Great Value
"I have up until now always used Shimano cables, but as my latest bike had one piece cable routing I decided to try these. They are easy to fit, well made, come with plenty of spare bits and are so far doing a good job. Only time will tell how well they last in the long run."

Lovin' the Ripcords
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Versatile, Good Fit
"I'm so glad to see that Jagwire is getting more popular in Europe. They, in my opinion, make some of the best quality cable kits in the business.
If you have any mechanical aptitude whatsoever it's quite easy to install a long lasting cable kit from Jagwire. They give you more than enough part and good instructions."

WARNING - Not enough for both Front & Rear !!!
Pros: High Quality
Cons: Poor Fit
"Overall quality of the product is impressive but the title says it all.
I bought this product as I needed a new rear housing on my Stumpjumper (which has full length cable housing on both derailleurs)
By chance I cut a length for the front derailleur first and fitted it without a problem. Then I discovered to my horror that there was nothing like enough housing remaining to do the rear.
Supremely irritating as only the rear derailleur needed attention in the first place.
Be warned
Dave"

Pros: Rugged, High Quality
"Purchased these to replace the original and rather damaged Jagwire Ripcords on a 09 Specialized Stumpy. The Stumpy requires full length cable housing from shifter to derailer and while this kit has a sufficient amount of cable for both the front and rear gears, there was not enough cable housing (which you cut to desired length) to do both. I ended up purchasing a second kit so I had enough cable housing and now have a spare set of cables and accessories. Cables work perfectly and are a quality product, much smoother effortless shifting on the Stumpy now."

Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Good Fit
"This was the first time I've ever replaced a gear cable and I'm very impressed with this cable.
I was able to seal the entire length quite snuggly and after 50 odd miles in wet and muddy conditions, with minimal cleaning, my gears still shift accurately.
I would definately use again."

Complete Kit for gear cables
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"This kit comes with everything you need. There is no need to run bare wire for any of the length as there is a thinner cable cover for even that section. Be warned however, even in the white cable kit, the thinner cable cover is black. There is excellent waterproofing on all joins, etc. Top quality kit with more than sufficient length of cable."

Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"I chose these cables as they are the next evolution to the ones which came on my bike from new. they have performed flawlessly for the last 3 years despite having weekly baths in the north yorkshire mud. unfortunately following a spectacular stack , i managed to tear open the outer housing of the front Mech. cable. this kit was very simple to fit. tools required :- common sense, cable cutters, a pair of pliers and an allen key. I removed the cable end cap, slackened off the cable grip and removed the cable from all the outer cable mount points. Then slid off each outer piece in turn and cut a new outer from the kit. after removing the old inner , i fed in the new inner, slotted on the new outers with new end caps with extended tubes on which fits into a new sleeve, which you cut to length and cover any exposed inner cable. runs, then reassemble the whole cable onto the bike, adjusted the gears, cut the excess inner off and capped it with a Transfil anti fray end cap. Moves like silk. JOB SORTED"

Nice cable kit in the colour I needed
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Good Fit
"I have a 2011 Giant trance with Jagwire blue cables as factory original. Unfortunately no bike shops in my area stock blue Jagwire cables. This was just what I was after. Kit came with all the bits and pieces for front and rear gear cable replacements matching the existing factory ones, but with the added sleeving and ends to help keep out the water and dirt."

Fed up with ghost shifting?
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Versatile, Good Fit
"Well buy these, well though out kit that suits full outer set ups or open cable set ups. Had my bike previously set up using the open cable set up (with the inner cable protectors) brilliant idea!. Never had a slipped gear in a whole year of use, they would still be running fine now but for an altercation with a tree. Now running full outers on the same bike. Both configurations give excellent performance and slick shifting, forever! (or at least until you want to pimp your bike again)."

Good shifting and cool product
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Easy to fit (with the proper cable cutters), plenty of cable inner/outer, and shifts lovely. I got the black carbon which looks trick in the sunlight (sad but it adds that bit of bling with the functionality). Plenty of 'small parts' to finish the job. Even has gold cable ends - but I dropped mine in some ivy and have spent hours trying to find them, have removed ivy and sifted through what remains to no avail - gutted."

awesome cables, awesome colours
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: no ferrules
"probably like a lot of people, i like to do alot of the maintenance and customisation on my bike myself. for anyone out there at all worried, dont. These cables are easy to fit, work great, look great and i'm on my second set due to changing bike. the only quarrel would be you dont get any ferrules for the ends. 8/10"

Excellent cables
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Very easy to fit. Good video on the Jagwire website. I'm very impressed with these cables. More than enough to do both front & rear gears on my bike. Very smooth action and well sealed. A top quality product & very lightweight, but tough outers."

Awesome product
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"Purchased this to add to a new 1x10 drivetrain upgrade, so only needed it for the rear derailleur. There is more than enough for the front as well though. Very easy to install, clear instructions. Although I removed the cable sheath they provide for in between cable stops, as it was affecting the shifting to lower gears. Good colour range as well. Make sure you have good quality cable cutters to snip the cable outer!"

Jagwire upgrade
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
"I have a 2007 giant bike that come with jagwire, which i've found to be very reliable, only the last couple of month have i noticed gear changes start to deteriorate. I feel it's worth upgrading, as it'll last. It took no time to install and was very impressed wth all the extra attention to detail items such as the extended guides, frame protectors and intermediate sheathing. and looks the part worth every penny"
