Cateye Velo Wireless Cycling Computer

The Velo Wireless has a great new look regarding the screen and body. The screen is enlarged making it easier to view the display and with one button control makes this computer very easy to use. As with all Cateye computers you get the standard list of functions including Average Speed.

computer
Pros: Adjustable
"Being just about to purchase a new bike I was keen to record every turn of the wheel so looked for an affordable but reasonably comprhensive cycle computer.
As usual Wiggle offered a wide range and once the choice was made ordering was simple and the article was received in time to fit the kit before a wheel was turned in anger.

Good value standard computer
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality
Cons: Unadjustable
"Good clear easy read display. Plenty of options to ensure tracking is acurate for correct tyre size. Looks good on the bike too.
Only draw back is I haven't been able to alter the clock to BST unless I remove the battery and reset everything and then have to set up again."

Great bit of kit
Pros: Durable, Attractive, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Not Enough Features
"I've had this computer for a while now and originally bought it to replace my old one that i bought for roughly the same price. To be honest, the older one had more features such as a heart monitor and a backlight but this computer does exactly what it says on the tin and is extremely easy to use, install and the large display is a very welcome addtion to my rides. the little pace arrow is useful aswell as you get real-time feedback on whether you should be going faster or not. These computers never include a description of whether they do kph, mph or both so here and now anyone who's looking to buy this computer it gives you a choice of either kph or mph."

Solid budget wireless
Pros: Great Value, High Quality
Cons: Unadjustable
"I've had few low-end Cateye wired speedos and always found them good value for knowing the basics.
This unit is certainly doing the job and has a good feature set.
I've found that you do need to have the sensor very close the magnet in order to get accurate readings when accelerating up a notch.
The transmitter is pretty bulky on the front fork, and they advise only 70cm range, so it wouldn't work on my chainstay which would be more aero/out of the way.
Easy to install, although tricky to remove the computer off the mount. Need to use a small screwdriver to flip the catch (not explained in manual) This makes it harder for someone to causally pinch it, although I'd prefer to not need a tool to remove it."

Cateye Velo Wireless Cycling Computer
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"An excellent computer. It is easy to fix onto the bike and easy to calibrate. No more measuring diameters etc., just enter the number from your tyre.
The battery lasts over a year, and the same size of battery fits both the transmitter and the receiver. The display is large and clear.
