Pros: Durable, Great Value, Good Fit
"These replaced my standard Specialized spindles because I use those on the turbo and these better ones for the road. They are excellent - easy to fit and the release mech never needs tightening to much. They seem light but very strong. Get them!"

Nice looking skewers
"These are nice looking, and fairly light skewers.
The good thing is that you can only bend the skewers so far so there's no touching of the lever on the frame and so no risk of a scratch on your precious bike!"

Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"My new Cannondale came with Shimano Q/R skewers of the classic Campagnolo 'enclosed cam' design, as recommended by Sheldon Brown (http://sheldonbrown.com/skewers.html). However, depending on which way the lever pointed, the rear one would foul the seatstay or chainstay where they met the dropout. I wasn't going to risk the paint so looked for a pair of 'open cam' skewers and came up with these.
They are just 66% of the weight of the Shimano items (and are lighter than advertised at 40g/44g) and suit the black with white and red details of the CAAD10 perfectly. In addition, you have to pay a lot, lot more to get anything that's either lighter or better looking. So far I've done a couple of hundred miles with them and the wheels haven't fallen off yet. Top stuff!
Downsides? About 100 years ago I was told that Q/R levers should face the back of the bike in case you head for the scenery and a lever gets snagged on some foliage . Or something like that. If I follow that advice with these, the 'FFWD' logo on the rear skewer is the wrong way up. Pathetic, I know, but now my eye is continually drawn to the rear-facing lever with its upside-down logo and IT'S JUST PLAIN WRONG! I know I could have the lever on the right with the logo the correct way up but that's equally wrong too.
Sod it, I'll just go to Kenilworth Road and after watching Luton play my skewers will be the least of my worries.
My advice? Buy these, especially if you have had the misfortune to have had Luton Town FC engrained into your whole being at an impressionable age.
I'll get my coat."

What a lovely bunch of...skewers..!

"Not to get too carried away, they are just skewers after all...but...
Bought these for my wife's bike as one of her skewers fell apart before a ride?!??! Replaced with these as they are very well made. They also look great, much bling compare to boring standard black skewers....although they would look even better on my bike. Sadly, my wife claimed them before I could get my hands on them."
