Excellent Purchase
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I took advantage of your special offer on these lights.Rear light is as good as you can buy. I've not been out when it's dark enough to test the front but at the price you couldn't be beaten. I try to support my LBS where possible but I couldn't resist an offer at £20 less."

Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Adjustable
"Nice straight forward mounting brackets that don't require any specialist tools to fix to bike.
Sleek and stylish design.
Haven't used lights yet so can not comment on performance of lights in the dark.

Good value light set
Pros: Attractive, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: not that showerproof
"I have the cheapest, entry level cateye set for my other bike, and wanted something to make me seen on the road, rather than to light up the road for miles so I thought I'd give this set a try.
The rear light (TL-LD610) is superb. It is bright, and if anyone fails to see this when lit - flashing, chasing, random or constant - then they should not be on the road. I have not seen a brighter rear light.
Slight downside to it is that it is easy to turn on (quick button press) so if loose in a bag it may end up draining its batteries through accidental switch on - it takes a long press to turn it off, so that won't happen by accident! Also, it has no weather seal on the battery compartment so isn't wonderfully shower proof. The compartment lid fits snugly, but it's worth keeping an eye on this to make sure it doesn't fill up with water on a wet day.
The front light is quite amazing for what it is: a single LED. It can either flash, or be set to constant. Unsurprisingly, constant use wears the batteries out four times as fast as the flashing mode, but as this is aimed at being visible rather than seeing where you're going, that's acceptable. It will also serve to see somewhat in unlit streets, but bear in mind it's one LED and 1 AA battery so don't expect blackpool illuminations!
Note that to turn the front light on, you need to press and hold the button for 5 seconds - so do that before you return it as faulty! Means no 'turned on in bag and flattened itself' syndrome for the front though.
There is an o-ring on the light compartment to somewhat seal the light against the elements, and while it's not waterproof I feel confident that the front light will survive rain.
The front takes a single AA battery, the rear takes 2 AAA batteries. The fitting system provided seems lightweight yet strong enough for the weights of the lights being attached.
Overall, a five star product for value and performance in context of being seen on the road. Very pleased with my purchase"

"Great small set of lights. I bought this set for my occasional single speed bike in case i stay am out past dark. Wouldn't recommend for full time commuting as front light isnt bright enough IMO but perfect for stashing in your bag as a spare light etc."

Almost perfect
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: incompatibilities
"I have found the front head light (Cateye HL-EL010 Uno) interferes with my Cateye Strada wireless computer when in strobe/pulse mode. It's disappointing considering the fact that both products are from the same manufacturer.
When the light is pulsating the reading on the computer goes to zero in similar intervals. This effects the speed reading of the computer, distance, etc. When the light is on continuously then the computer reads fine.
If you didn't have a wireless computer I would highly recommend."

Almost perfect

I was very impressed with this product until I realised that in 'strobe' mode the front light was interfering with my Cateye Strada wireless computer! Considering both products are the same manufacturer this is pretty disappointing!
Would love to know if I'm the only one who has experienced this.
