More adjustment than normal
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"It gives that added benefit if you require more fore/aft in your cleat settings, seems a little bit heavy but does what it says and is very durable.
Again, a little expensive for such a simple add on."

Perfect for their intended purpose
Pros: Adjustable
Cons: Bulky
"One of the first mistakes a beginner rider can make is having the seat too low. A mistake in later years may be having it too high. This was where I went wrong, with a professional bike fitter dropping my seat and then extending me further back to compensate.
The fitter then strongly recommended Speedplay pedals, specifically for the ability to use use extender plates to enable the cleat position to be moved further back than would otherwise be possible. To this end, these work a treat."

Speedplay Fore-Aft Extender Base Plate Kit
Pros: Adjustable, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"These are very effective at getting your cleat closer to the center of the shoe. I have a very long femur and it is necessary to move my cleat back to keep my knees further back. These are much easier and reliable than having to drill new holes in your shoes. They fit perfectly to my Sidi shoes with the provided shims."

Where have you been all my life?
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable
"Not really necessary for most people, but for anyone needing a larger than usual amount of fore/aft adjustment this is the piece of kit for you. I have very long toes and until now have never been able to get a cleat to sit far enough back on my foot. This kit has significantly reduced the strain on my calf muscles allowing me to ride harder for longer. Other than being slightly expensive, I really can't recommend this highly enough."
