Bigger than i thought
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"Bought these as i was about to do a 100 mile charity ride. Having never tried them before it was a leap of faith but they worked out fine.
I was advised to go a for a size up (13 instead of 12) but i think i could have gotten away with the 12. They are very roomy.
Very pleased with my choice as my first SPD shoe.
They come with the cleats and are easy to set up.

Think carefully about size
Pros: Attractive, Lightweight
"Good shoes, but the most important thing you need to know is - these shoes come up small.
I'm typcially a size 12, but ordered size 50 and whilst they fit, they are not as 'roomy' as I was expecting.
If you order a pair, definitely go for a size (or two) up."

Great shoes but sizing is an issue
"As shimano don't do 1/2 sizes, as far as I know sizing could be an issue for some. I am a 43.5 and have wide feet (D), so the 43s are a bit too small and the 44s are a bit too big.
I believe a 43 Wide fit would be just right.
In the end I got the 44 and just had to tighten the straps a bit more to make up for the extra room. However there is a bit of room around the heel area for me."

MO77 Multi Use Shoes
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Good Fit
"I got these for Mountain Bike riding, but when my Triathlon Shoes wore down, I was reluctant to buy new ones straight away. Put some SPD pedals on my road bike and found I could run into and out of Transition during a Tri event in these shoes. No 'clip clop' of the cleats and not too restricting to move quickly with them on.
I may take 15sec longer in Transition to put them on and off, but to me its worth it. No fiddling to get them on or off with the easy velcro straps.
Easy to ride in them too during Mt Bike Events. Very comfortable.

Great shoe
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons: Poor Fit
"Very good shoe, I feel firm but comfortable push against the pedals. Recommended. Fine to walk in off the bike.
Two things
- They come up small, I'm 7.5 / 8 and I've got 44 which are right
- Let's wind in. So cold winter riding will need thicker cover or overshoe.

Pros: Attractive, High Quality
Cons: Expensive, Wears Out Easily, Poor Fit, sole ttears appart from upper shoe., sole cracks
"Stiff enough for recreational racers. Three velcros stay in place and tightly grabs instep. Upper shoe is very, very durable in all terrain use. Unfortunately the sole isn't ment for all mountain hiking . Precisely, for riding is great, but not for walking. Sharp rocks in Alps make shoe fell appart in a single one day tour, while uppers are like new despite banging in rocks and roots from time to time. Destroied three pairs of similar shimanos in three years. This time i'm getting smarter (finaly). So this shimanos will be used on soft terrains or where no walking is required. For rocky alps i'll buy some other shoe with more rubber and better walking - for sure they will last longer.
Srill a great shoe, but not for walking in Alps.
Vents well, dries quickly, nice not shouting dark color.

Huge difference
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality
"First clipless shoe/pedal combo I've used for years (with Shimano PD-M520 pedal). Still marvelling at what a huge difference they make to my riding; improved efficiency and increased control.
Only problem was having to return for a larger pair due to the narrow fit at the toe although Wiggles returns system made that easy.
The MTB design is ideal for commuting.

Coose your size with care
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable
"A number of reviewers have commented on the sizing of these shoes.
I normally take a 9 / 9½ in a shoe. However with a wide foot, in Trainers and Walking shoes I buy a 10 to allow for expansion. So given previous reviews I played safe and ordered a Euro 45, which the size guide reckons is a 10½ in U.K. sizing.
A respected web site advises that when buying cycle shoes, you should buy a half size smaller than your regular walking shoe to ensure good pedal contact and provide a snug fit as your feet don’t get much movement when riding and this will help keep your feet warmer.
I’m glad I didn’t take this advice as perhaps there is a problem with conversion from Japanese design to Euro / UK sizing but these are a snug fit. One foot a little more than is comfortable but overcome by not fastening the straps as tightly as I normally do.
That said, they are well made, very comfortable to walk in, which is a must as I use these when commuting and a great price, compared to my road shoes.
That raises an interesting point as from a different brand my road shoes were bought as a size 44 and are if anything too big as I have a little too much free movement but a least it allows me to add a thermal sock to my winter layers.
Different manufacturers seem to have difficulty in gauging their sizes, which could put you off buying on the net without trying, but Wiggle’s no hassle returns policy should allay any fears."

Great Shoe.
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
"These are my first Cleated shoes. I went for the mountain bike shoes as the cleat is completely recessed. I am able to walk into the pub without slipping over. Great value for the quality.
These are fairly light but well made. They are extremely comfy. I usually wear size 47-48, in these I had to get size 50 for them to fit well.
The velcro straps grip well.
Difficult getting decent overshoes in this size."

Excellent All Round Mtb Shoe
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"Purchased for a mountain bike holiday- wanted firm soled shoe (with possibility of using the clips/cleets at a later date).
Went on a few rides before holiday and found that the shoes didn't require any wearing in- can be a bit slippy on cheap peddles though. During holiday caused absolutely no problems and were excellent for the occasional scramble over rocks.
As mentioned by others, the shoes are slightly smaller than you'd normally expect for a given size. There's a good size comparison page with the shoe on wiggle allowing you to convert between normal uk and european-shimano sizes."

Good basic mtb shoes
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Good Fit
Cons: not the comfiest
"I use Shimano Road shoes and as with those these run quite a narrow toe box so I always order up a size. Basic velcro strap system works fine, padding around the ankle is reasonable. They feel pretty stiff and are walkable, maybe just the insole is a bit thin because the cause me a bit of pain on longer rides."

Love these shoes
"I actually bought these shoes for my road bike as I like the fact that they are a little more on the chunky side. The are comfortable and I really like them. I am normally a size five but ordered a size 6, Shimano come up small"

First SPD shoes - very satiesfied
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Versatile, Good Fit
"The Shimano M077 was my first pair of SPD shoes, so I really have nothing to compare with, but I am very satiesfied. The shoes are comfortable and fits well on my feat. The model is a bit more narrow than my usual walking shoes in the same size/different brand. If this applies to all SHimano shoes I do not know but should be considered when purchasing these shoes. Howevere, thay are not so narrow that it is a problem - on the contrary that only makes it easier to add more power to the pedals when biking.
Finally, the shoes are even ok when walking - you can easily get off the bike and walk for a while with them hurting your feet.
Oh, one more thing... I think the shoes look great!"

basic bike shoe
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, Adjustable, Lightweight
"Hooray, a non white/pastel/pink bike shoe for women. Fit is a bit more generous than older Shimano shoes I've had, and doesn't seem particularly rugged (time will tell!) but they are at the lower end of the price scale. I know its a MTB shoe, but good for spin/rpm classes and tootling around the city"

Excellent customer service!
Pros: Great Value, Comfortable, Adjustable, Good Fit, good price as i'm only new to road cycling
"Sent back a pair of shoes as they ere wrong size/type. Was given 90% voucher as I hadn't sent them back in protective bag.
Ordered new shoes that afternoon and they arrived next day without me paying the extra delivery charge!
Excellent customer service unlike some companies I've been dealing with lately!
Thank your colleagues for the good work.
Happy customer,
Simon"
