Like Slippers
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Adjustable, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"I'm just a regular cyclist , and I must say that these are the most comfortable and adjustable shoes I've ever worn . The ratchet and velcro closure system allows you to compensate easily for sock thickness / hot feet , and the heel cup is nice and secure . I like the MTB type shoes so that when I'm off the bike I don't have to walk like a penguin ! Shame I could only get black though ."

Good quality but not cheap
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Versatile
Cons: Expensive
"Good quality shoes for all round SPD use. Comfortable from the start with the lorica being supple. Sizing is comparable with other brands e.g Specalized and Shimano. I normally take a 43 euro which can be a bit tight in some brands and I ordered the 44which is is quite roomy in the toe box. Sole is nice and stiff which is good for general road use."

exactly what I expected!
Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Only ridden for a couple of hours but quality fit and comfort seem to be just right. I chose size 44 compared with size 43 in Shimano"

Sidi Shoes
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, very expensive, very very expensive
"Quite simply Sidi are the best cycling shoes you can buy but they are ridiculously expensive. This is my second pair (different style for different bike/pedals/cleats) and I will not make the mistake of purchasing any other brand. However, the price is "pushing the envelope" about as far as it will go. Oh, one other thing I just remembered about Sidi shoes...they make the worst TV ad's that are aired during the TdF etc that you will ever see..............I guess that's where the get the price of the shoes...paying Basso and Nibali to dress up as Chefs! Ridiculous but the shoes are second to none."

Great pair of shoes
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"I've finally made the switch from Look racing pedals to SPDs after getting totally fed up of replacing racing cleats and not being able to walk around in them. I'm not a racer and so the very small weight penalty of wearing MTB shoes on my road bike is well worth the added convenience.
The Dominators 5s are a great pair of shoes, comfortable and up to the usual high standard of Sidis that I've come to expect. The only downside is that they are hugely expensive, but try buying a set of cycling shoes in size 50 in a different make - it's just impossible! Also I have very slim feet and Sidis suit me just fine, but those of you with a broader foot may need to go to the "mega" wide fitting.
Lastly for my shoe size i should be buying a size 48 but Sidis do tend to come up small so you will need to buy a size or two up from your usual."

Good MTB shoes
Pros: Durable, Comfortable, Lightweight
"I have used these shoes in the past and bought them again. They are very good, especially if you are prone to cold feet as the full enclosure (no mesh) provides for extra warmth at minimal weight cost. The Lorica material is genuinely supple even after many years of mud and water."

Sidi rocks
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Adjustable, Lightweight, Versatile, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Unfortunately I had to massively abuse the nice new Sisi shoes right from the start with a 20 river crossings MTB XC track in the mountains.
Even totally soaked they still performed beautifully. Walking was easy enough and the cycling was still good.
Walking through rocky rivers left one of two scrachtes in the leather in the front - nothing which would reduce the performance of the shoe.
Had to walk 10km in these shoes last weekend - which was not ideal, as they are not really made for walking. The traction is fine but my feet did hurt a bit.

First Purchase Ever
Pros: Durable, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight
"I am riding clipless for the first time, but I had seen these well reviewed and settled on them for that reason. Obviously they are pretty expensive but the expense seems fully justified to me. My only adverse experience has been that my feet get a bit cold on a long winter ride, but that is scarcely a design fault."
