Brilliant bike

"After much research and conversations with various more experienced cyclists i went for the Focus Cayo mainly due to the full carbon frame and Shimano 105 groupset.

Reading the reviews on Wiggle i knew already that the bike was well worth the investment and with the voucher code on the Wiggle website i received an extra 15% off which made the decision even easier.

I have been on my first outing on it today and could honestly not stop smiling the whole way round!! It was a joy to ride. The gears were smooth and quiet while the bike just glided up and down hills. The most enjoyable part was blasting past another cyclist who could only look on in wonder as this carbon beast of a bike cruised past.

I would recommend this bike to anyone who wants an affordable carbon bike."

"売切れ数週間前にこれほどのお買い得品に出会えたのは本当にラッキーでした。
このクールな外見のカーボンバイクは実にスムーズに走ってくれます。乗り心地はソフトですが安定感があり、向かい風でもペダリングが驚くほど軽いです。
以下のようなパーツ交換を行って、自分にとってかなり完璧な長距離ツーリング・バイクになりました。総重量はペダル抜きで約8.1kgとなり、900gほどの減量です。

I feel so lucky that I found this great deal a couple of weeks before it is sold out.
This cool-looking carbon bike runs so smoothly. Feels very soft but stable. Pedaling is surprisingly light even when I am going against the wind.
I upgraded the following parts and it became truly a perfect long distance touring bike for me. Total weight without pedals became 8.1kg which is about 900g reduction from the original.

"通勤にクロスバイクを使ってはや4年。そろそろロードが欲しいと思い、ネットで探してたら運よくこのバイクを発見。フルカーボンでこの値段は日本の半額以下。整備も自分で出来るから迷わずクリックしました。

初の海外注文で少々不安がありましたが、荷物の追跡も出来るし、8日目に到着で何も問題ありませんでした。梱包もしっかりしていてこれはおすすめ出来ます。

クロスバイクとの比較で唯一の欠点はブレーキの効きが悪い事。その他についてサイクリングレベルでの不満は今のところ有りません。"

"こんにちは。初めて投稿します。
ロードを盗まれから、サイクリングサイトを色々見てきました。最初は個人輸入するのに抵抗がありましたが、購入前にwiggleへ身長、股下等を日本語でメールをして色々聞きアドバイスをもらい購入にいたりました。組み立てに心配でしたが、難しいことなく組み立ては無事終了し、現在の走行距離は約１００ｋｍ問題無く走っています。ただ、乗る前に点検（ネジ締め、ブレーキ調整はした方がよいでしょう。購入前に身長、股下、左右の腕の長さは計って、wiggleに聞いた方が良いと思います。さて、このロードですが、見た目は荒い塗装だなと思いましたが、日本で売っている自転車もそうでした。ｗ
また、サイトなどで評価しているように、直進安定性がすごく、こんなに早かったけ！て言うほど早く走れました。"

・商品については、事前のレポートどおり、カーボンの表面の粗さはありますが、機能的に問題なければ自分としては問題ありません。ただ日本国内の商品と比べるなら仕上げにかなり差があるので、値段との相談だと思います。自分自身は満足です。
・取引については迅速でほぼ１週間で届きました。
・日本語組み立て説明資料が同封されていませんでしたが、メール対応により迅速に対応いただきました。
・組み立てについてはリアディーラー部分が説明書と異なる図がありましたが、素人の私でも問題なく組み立てられました。
・箱を開けるのが仕事で１週間くらい後になったのですが、バウチャーが同封されていましたので早めに開封されることをお勧めします。(私は開封日が期限でしたので使えませんでした)"

Nice bike shame about the delivery

"The bike looks great and for the price it is a great deal. However the dropout screw was missing from my order so I am yet to ride the bike so I have no comment on the bike other than how it looks.

A note worth considering if ordering from overseas; the bikes come in two boxes with the full order receipt shown on each box regardless of how your order is split between the two boxes, because of this you are likely to be charged double customs duty. I do not know why the boxes can’t be labeled with the value of the goods in each? I have paid customs duty applicable to the full value of the bike on first the frame and then again on the second box which had the wheels. In hindsight I would have been better to refuse the delivery of the wheels, not paid the duty and spent the money instead on a better set of wheels."

フレームはコーティング塗装（？）がされていないが、仕様らしい。まぁ、これはこれで「味」である。"

This bike ride is good. 乗り心地が良い。

"I have been riding an aluminum road bike(TREK 2.3) before. Compared with their bikes, but like a sports car(TREK 2.3) and luxury sedan(FOCUS CAYO). I think both bikes are great. The long ride of about 200km is facing more FOCUS CAYO. But I do not think Sprint is facing. FOCUS CAYO straight-line stability is good. When I release my hands at less than 20km / h, I can be enough to balance.
Excuse my English.

私はアルミロード(TERK 2.3)を乗っています。それぞれのバイクと比較すると、高級セダンとスポーツカーのよう。いずれもいいバイクだと思います。200km程度のロングライドにはFOCUS CAYOの方が向いています。でも、スプリントには向いていないと思います。FOCUS CAYOは直進安定性が良いです。20km/h以下で両手を離しても、十分にバランスを取ることが可能です。"

"I’m 5’8” tall and bought a 54cm Focus Cayo. The fit is generally good for my height and riding position. The bike is extremely good value for money, the quality of the frame and components (my version has Shimano 105) are excellent. I use the bike for commuting to work, winter training and on my rollers. I’ve fitted Crud race guards and they fit without having to cutting the guards. I did however need to change the tyres to 700x23c to allow the guards to fit. Overall, the bike is stiff with the bb30 bottom bracket, agile, good for hill climbing, great to ride and exceptional value for money, especially when you buy the bike from Wiggle for sub £900. Wiggle is great to buy from so no concerns there. I’m becoming a bit of a Focus fan and I’m now looking for a Focus TT bike."

Best bike I've ever owned

"Before I ordered could not believe the value for money offered - a full carbon road bike equiped with a 105 set ... anyway, I have had the bike for 6 weeks and have to say that I am delighted in it.

Yes, I might replce the saddle (nothing at all wrong with the saddle provided) - put on the seat my bum is more used to on my old bike ;-))) - but other than that, I've no reason to change anything.

The 'pedals' supplied with the bike are a joke and are best ignored ;-)))

The bike arrived very promptly and there was some minimum work required assembing the bike - adjusting the handlebar height, and fitting pedal, otherwise the bike was ready to ride out of the box. Thanks Wiggle!!!"
