Schwalbe Ultremo HT Tubular Tyre

Hand making a tubular tyre is an art in itself. So, because production differs distinctly from the manufacture or regular bicycle tyres, they are exclusively manufactured in a new Schwalbe factory.

best of the best
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"I've ridden the 22mm throughout the entire year. It rides extremely well. It glues on straight, is easy to install, and wears fairly well for such a high-end race tire.
I have had no flats or any other issues with the tire.
I also have a 25mm pair that I'll be gluing up soon..."

Schwalbe Ultremo Tubular
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight
"Great tire....superb durability...great punture resistance. Highly recommended. However, requires to be inflated before every ride because it looses pressure overnight,"

Quality
Pros: Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"A quality tubular after glue prep, will just go on the rim and all but be true. These tyres make that category.
They are very fast. Raced about 200km on them now on Edge Wheels, still looking great and no problems.
Definitely a performance tyre, hence on my race wheels only."

Great out of the box
Pros: High Quality, Rugged, Lightweight
Cons: Expensive
"I have been really disappointed with other high end brand 'hand made' tubs. Not so this gem. Really well constructed (critical with tubs) and what it lacks in colours makes up for in reliability and performance. This brand will do me. bit expensive in the short term. great value in long term."

Great Tyre
"This tyre is stable and grips well. You get a feeling of confidence in the tyre under you when descending at speed into a corner. As opposed to other tyres I have used in the past, you just know that this tyre will perform when you need it to. We all know that the pros use certain equipment because they are paid and not because they are the best. However it is no wonder that the likes of the Schleck brothers chose this tyre. There is no amount of sponsorship money that will suffice to take the risk descending the Alps or the Pyrenees on an inferior tyre.
As for the pros and cons. This tyre ticks all the boxes and in truth having purchased it from wiggle, I think it is reasonably priced. Although I am not too price sensitive when it comes to that part of the bike that ensures the bitumen and I remain separated."

Schwalbe Ultremo HT tubs
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Attractive, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
"This tyre is a long awaited replacement for the original Ultremo tubs. However, unlike the old version this is fully hand made and has a slight tread. They are very supple and roll amazingly well...just ask Liquigas. That said they are a top tyre and are not ideal for ripping up on poor surfaces. As they have a latex tube they do lose pressure quickly and may be prone to impact punctures due to the supple construction. The tri compound rolling surface is very grippy much better than Contis and seems pretty toughand has handled the local flints well! These are Amazing value for the price. I would say they are more like a £75 - £80 tyre quality wise. Good for racing wheels on road and early season TT."
