TT stand for time trial. Entire tours are decided in the fight against the clock. This is reason enough to offer particularly fast tyres.

GREAT RACING TUBS
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Lightweight, fast

"Ive been using these podium tt tubs for ages now and i think they are excellent , very fast , very tough for a racing tyre. I do a lot of sporting courses and there perfect for these, the 18mm ones take a huge pressure , i think they are dear though. overall though highly recommended"

Excellent tub
Pros: Great Value, Attractive, High Quality, Lightweight
"Bought one to fit to my rear track wheel. Spoke to the Conti guys at the cycle show as needed to replace GP4000 tub as it had worn out, yes on a wooden velodrome.
Follow the mounting instructions and you should not have any problems. Stretched tub for 2 days on the wheel, applied 4 coats of glue to tub and wheel and it fits perfectly. Best fitting tub I have even better than the Tempo I have on the front wheel.
The tub appears to be more direct compared to the GP4000 and Sprinter I have on other wheels. I can feel every bump on the track. It feels fast as well. Will only know in a few months how it lasts.

Definitely quicker
Pros: Great Value, High Quality, Lightweight
"Changed to these from the more expensive 4000GT conti's - they're lighter & allowed me to best my 50 mile TT time by 7.5 mins. Happy days! Think I'll keep them for the drag strip courses though as they're considerably thinner. No idea on wear as this was a first ride."
