poor stitching

"Look as advertised. Enables an obese guy to look good in the water. But poor stitching spoils it all. The stitches at the lower right came off. Also some stitches at the back came off also. So I don't know how long it will last before coming apart."

"Ive owned lots of tri suits over the last 10 years and this one is my favourite. The compression, fit, pad, durability wash after wash and quality are super. And you can run in it too.

Provided you sew the back pocket closed the best feature for me is the performance in the water ..... Almost as good as a fast skin but a fraction of the price.

As with almost all tri suits the pad is good but absolutely not thick enough for anything longer than olympic distance unless the roads are very very good.

Overall im very happy with this purchase and i have even bought another one as a spare ...."

Comfortable suit

"Very good and comfortable tri suit. The leg grippers are very comfortable. The fabric quality is vastly superior to my other tri suit. The chamois feels good but I am yet to do any longer rides using the suit. The only problem is that I feel as though I get very hot in it. 2XU sizing is a little on the small size so you might need to go up a size compared to what you would usually wear."

First tri

"I thought since I was doing my first tri I had better look the part. I was worried about how it would go in the water, but it didn't let me down. It dried quickly.
The suit fitted well. I got a medium. I am 78kg and about 172cm tall. It was good to run in and no issues on the bike.
The front zip was great because it was very hot. There was no chaffing, or rubbing at all.
I will be doing another tri just so I can wear the suit.
The pocket in the back fitted my gel flask nicely."

"Just received the Large version of the suit and it fits perfectly. Normally with clothing my body shape and size are medium sized but after reading the reviews the Large was worthwhile

To help anyone looking at this suit my measurements are

Build - Slim

Height - 189cm

Chest - 95cm or 37"

Waist 86cm or 33"-34"

Thighs - 53cm -21"

Its comfortable, does not feel excessively tight and you can feel the compression. It by no means feels loose."

2XU tri suit

"This is my second 2XU tri suit, which says it all really. Extremely comfortable, with light compression and excellent leg grippers. Usefeul sized pockets on the back, and nice long zip for cooling on the run. Comfy padding, small enough to go almost un-noticed on the run.

Maybe more expensive than other brands, but well worth the extra. Will definitely buy again."

Brilliant try suit, careful about the pocket

"This is my first tri I completed in this suit and during the cycle/run it was fantastic and even in my swim my time was slightly better than practice, however, during the swim I did feel the pocket flare out and drag in the water from time to time (this may be down to my technique, my swim is my weakest point!)

None the less, it's cheap for what it is and you will really notice it during the run and cycle, everything is pressured and padded where it should be."

"Very good quality tri-suit and an excellent fit. No chafing during the ride and run and drys out quickly. I'm went for the small size ( normally medium) as i wanted a snug fit with nothing baggy anywhere. It fitted just fine, although may have been a little tight in the top half, that may have just been my build though."

"Used the fitting guide on the site and ended up ordering a medium. Overall it fits great with the legs being a little less compression that I was expecting.

I did a brick session (swim/bike) the other night and experienced no chaffing anywhere. The chamois is comfortable, dries quickly and the suit does seem to keep you cool - it was +26C during my workout and I felt comfortable throughout.

As I live in northern climate, we swim in wetsuits almost year round. I wore this suit under my wetsuit and never noticed any restrictive movement during my swim.

The blue and grey color combo looks good."

"I have worn this suit in 2 half iron distance races and I have found it to be very comfortable especially on the bike which I was a little worried about as the chamois is thin. "This is my first trisuit so I cannot compare it to anything. Overall it was a good fit and is really comfortable.

I have other 2XU products and they seem to be very well designed for purpose.

The chamois is compact, good for cycling and does not interfere with running.

The only negative comment I would have is that there could be more than one pocket in this suit. There should be one on both sides to make them easier to access. Also, some type of flap or lid would be good to keep gels/food safe."
