Five Ten Impact 2 Low MTB Shoes
Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit, grippy
Cons: Bulky
"I had been riding in trainers before these, I did not want to go the clipless route as I prefer the confidence of getting the feet off the pedals if needed even though I use clipless on the road. The difference in grip these give over ordinary trainers is amazing.
I ride mostly XC but even in the sloppiest of conditions these still grip the pedals strong and the shoes clean up easily after a wipe or rinse down if really bad.
The only downside I can say is the size of the show, they do look a little bulky but then again they are comfortable and I don’t notice the size when wearing them.
I’ve only had these for a month so cannot comment on durability yet but overall I’m really pleased I purchased these."

As good as always
Pros: Durable, Great Value, Comfortable, High Quality
"Buying a second set to replace my previous set which I have had for two years and are only now starting to slowly fade away. Cannot get a better solution for the price when comparing these + flat pedals vs clipless shoes/pedals. Plenty of grip even on cheaper pedals like v8's"

very sticky soles
Pros: Comfortable, Rugged, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Limited Color Choices
"nice comfy fit, enough stiffness in the sole but perfectly fine to walk in and very sticky soles. almost too sticky if you put your foot on the pedals wrong. need a little getting used to but well designed."

A must have for flat pedal downhillers
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Rugged, Good Fit, really grippy!
Cons: Expensive, Unattractive, Bulky, Limited Color Choices
"The soles on these shoes are thick and fairly stiff so there pretty good for getting the power down on those much hated pedal sections that we never look forward to. The grip they provide, when matched up with good pedals, is simply amazing and gives you extra control and confidence. They are bulky, but I don't feel my feet over heating that much, and the bulky lining makes them comfortable and a nice snug fit. My only criticism would be the styling, but thats really the least of my worries, and black shoes probably aren't a bad idea for our stinking UK trails. My last pair of shoes where the 5.10 freeriders and I can say that these are comfier and have more grip and pedaling power."

Amazing
Pros: High Quality
"excellent shoes, my friends had recommended these, I was not disappointed. Bought these before we went to moraine for a week. My feet remained stuck to the pedals on all the trails, just like being clipped in. They are sticky with v8 / v12 pedals."

Pros: Durable, Comfortable
"This is the first pair of flats that i have owned. I just recently purchased an All Mountain Bike and decided to go for flats after doing some research. I can safely say that i'm glad i did.
These shoes are fantastic and give impressive amounts of grip. After a full days riding your feet feel fine as the soles are quite thick. They also look good when your not riding.
All in all a very good purchase and i would certainly recommend."
