Puncture Resistant, not proof
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Those coming from Marathon Plus will be disappointed. The supreme is light, sticky, fast and steers well, but I'm averaging a puncture every 500 miles (3 in 1500, even spread) and the culprit in all three cases was small slivers of glass that cut though(!) the vectran band. Also, looking at the wear, I'm not convinced at all by Schwalbes longevity claims.
So, if you want commuter tyres, get the Plus, if you want faster, lighter tyres, with *some* degree of puncture resistance, these are fine.
For me, I'm going to back to Plus when I've knackered these."

Great all round tyre
"Bought these thinking that something a bit more solid and larger size would be the way to go in winter, fully expecting to go slower and have slightly heavier steering.
And yes, they are super tough and durable for winter, stick nicely to slick roads, but also roll and steer really nicely - surprise
So, I look just like a pro (ha!) with on-trend larger tyres, save my butt over potholed city streets, and still have an excuse of "heavy winter tyres" for why I'm going slowly up the hills. Perfect"

favourite commuter
Pros: Durable, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
"I swear by these for commuting. next to no punctures and when they do there is usually a nail in there along with a load of glass that never got through. last ages. grip is excellent. nice rounded profile helps corneing. rolling resistance is reasonable. you wouldn't put them on a light bike but on a hybrid or tourer I find them excellent even at the price. reflective too. did I mention punctures? wire version is cheaper."

So far so good !!
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive
"Clocked up 1,000km so far, and it's rolling and riding quite well.
No issues with grip level, and I appreciate the reflective sidewall for the riding I do at night. Went on the rim well, and bead seated really easy.
Not cheap, but seem to be holding up well with no obvious cuts or marks yet despite several wet rides."

The best tyre for the job.
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Rugged
"This is my second set of Marathon Supremes and although my last set have some life left I decided to replace them early for an upcoming five week tour. They roll well (700x32c), wear incredibly well and have taken a lot of punishment with 37+ kg's of weight on very secondary French and Spanish roads. There is simply nothing better on the market."

Good tire but not as puncture-proof as I hoped
Pros: High Quality, Lightweight, Good Fit
Cons: Expensive, ugly reflective strip
"I have been using Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires for three years, during which I have punctured only 3 or 4 times over 10k miles. They are fairly expensive and heavy but almost never flat.
The Marathon Supreme is about half the weight of the "Plus" while supposedly providing the same level of puncture protection. I was disappointed when my rear wheel flatted because of a thorn barely 75 miles after installation.
I then decided to use the Supreme on the front wheel only and returned the Plus to its rightful place on the rear wheel. Since then I've racked up a few hundred miles without a problem.
I should note that the Supreme is *much* easier to mount than the Plus (which are notoriously difficult to install)."

Great commuting tyre
Pros: Durable, Rugged, High Quality
Cons: Expensive
"I have had a pair of the 700 x 28 on my hybrid for over a year now and put over 4,000 kms on them with my commute to work. One puncture so far, which was a pinch flat due to under inflation, nothing penetrated the tyre.
Front tyre still looks new, rear is starting to show wear, but I suspect I will get another 1000 kms out of it.
Great in wet and dry, I wouldn’t use anything else."

Great Commuting Tire
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Versatile
"I've only put about 600 kms on a set of these tires (700 X 35) so far but I'm very pleased with them overall. Not super fast by any means but that is not what I'm looking for in a commuting tire. They do roll nicely, have excellent grip in both dry and very wet conditions and through corners. At max psi they are firm but still offer a very comfortable ride over all road conditions. I cannot attest yet to their longterm durability but I've ridden through gravel, glass anf two serious potholes and see no evidence of any cuts or damage. Very reliable."

Good all round tyre
Cons: Expensive
"I've had them on my hybrid bike for a couple of months now, I ride the bike to work almost everyday.
Tread pattern seems to be a directional semi-slick overall a great tyre with good grip in both dry and wet conditions. The reflective side walls adds a bit more visibility at night. A bit more expensive than other tyres but the added grip, comfort and performance is well worth the money."
